- Oversee and lead software development with teams in Hong Kong and Shenzhen for commercial purposes.

- Guide, instruct and train software engineers and ensure efficiency and quality are achieved.
- Establish and enforce software development standards and framework by adopting industry best practices and industry quality standards relevant to the company's business.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Minimum BSc degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, with experience in wireless communication systems and/or 5G IAB.
- Knowledge of C/C++ on Linux Kernel and Linux networking.
- Proven experience in leading the software development team and collaborating with contractors for successful project delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, management, and leadership skills.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience, with 1-3 years at supervisory level preferred.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential; knowledge of Cantonese and/or Putonghua is a plus.

This role will require close collaboration with the trading desks on platform design & optimization of trading strategies. Prior experience in Market Making / Quantitative Trading / Algorithmic Trading is necessary along with knowledge of market microstructure and regulatory regimes across APAC markets.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Design, development and support of high-performance electronic trading systems.
+ Partner with business users, quant researchers and clients on product development
+ Manage and support a global team of developers & QA specialists.
+ Continuous improvements of SDLC processes including Agile delivery, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines & support processes.
+ Envision, design and implement test cases for trading functions.
**Qualifications** :
+ Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with strong technical knowledge either Java or C++.
+ Demonstrable expertise in low-latency trading, zero garbage techniques and performance tuning of OS & network interactions.
+ Prior experience in leading global development teams.
+ Previous experience in developing automated trading platforms.
+ Strong understanding of automated testing techniques.

Reporting To The Director Of Information Technology, The Associate Director Of Information Technology Is a Key Position In Developing IT Plans, Strategies, And Infrastructure To Meet The Vision And Mission Of The University And For a Long-term Sustainable Development. The Appointee Shall
- work in close collaboration with the Director of Information Technology in providing leadership, direction, and guidance to ITSC;
- consult with various academic faculties and administrative support units and put forward insights and solutions on various IT needs;
- budget, plan, manage resources and vendors for different IT related projects;
- perform the management, coordination, and supervision of technology related construction events for the University;
- ensure the provision of adequate information systems and data support to staff and students to meet teaching, research and administration needs;
- oversee the information security operations of the University; and
- direct the development and provision of computer equipment and software.
- possess a recognised bachelor’s degree or relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
- have a substantial record of successful project management and effective leadership at the management level in sizable organisations;
- have solid experience in IT infrastructure, network and system management, application development, AI technology, information security operations, and technical support;
- preferably have knowledge of administrative practices in the tertiary education sector;
- have knowledge of Virtual Production Technology and Extended Reality Technology will be advantageous; and
- possess strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
