FX Partnerships Sales - Hong Kong office

The partnerships division is specialist on institutional, financial brokers and FinTech sales, providing white-labelled solutions for banks, asset & wealth management firms, Money Services Businesses and software platforms. Giving access to liquidity into over 100 currencies, outsourced compliance facilities and state of the art foreign exchange management software.

The Partnerships & Indirect Sales team is a crucial contributor to the growth and success of our new indirect sales business unit in Hong Kong. The Partnerships team is responsible for building great relations with financial intermediaries and strategic partners.

You will develop a network of intermediaries from scratch, through market research and cold calling, with the goal to leverage maximum revenue potential. By understanding their client’s needs and presenting appropriate solutions, you will help grow our partners’ businesses whilst also achieving personal and monetary goals for yourself.

With the understanding of the market you acquire, you will become an expert within the FX world and will be set up for a successful sales career in a global Fintech.

About You

  • Enjoy building new relationships with a client acquisition (“hunter”) mindset.
  • Interested in the financial markets, ideally with a financial background.
  • Excellent communication and social skills: face to face, via telephone and email. You have to enjoy talking to other people with a genuine interest to learn about them and their business.
  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B partner-facing (or client-facing) function, ideally in the financial services or technology industry.
  • Structured approach to conduct market research, planning and organisation skills
  • Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit: you are pragmatic, autonomous and self-driven.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and assess new opportunities based on customer and market need, economics, technological capabilities and competitive environment.
  • Business fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
  • Are outgoing, sociable and enjoy attending networking and social events to meet new people.

Job Description

  • Provide sales information to Senior Sales Manager each month to support development of proposed forecast
  • Work with Senior Sales Manager to develop and execute sales plan once proposed forecast is approved
  • Implement product sales strategies to ensure sales goals and targets are achieved.
  • Utilize selling skills to ensure customer needs are met and territory sales targets achieved through regular customer contact.
  • Identify new business opportunities and gain new or expanded business within territory while maintaining existing business.
  • Develop and communicate: daily, weekly & monthly plans and results; cycle goals, sales targets and results to Sales and Marketing Management.
  • Communicate market intelligence to Sales and Marketing Management.
  • Attend scientific events, conferences and exhibition booths as required.
  • Conduct scientific meetings and key account plan with customer base, as required.
  • Ensure all activities in territory are executed with professionalism and comply with AbbVie standards and Code of Conduct.
  • Develop and maintain territory and customer records.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings with manager to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Science/Pharmacy or a Medical related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in Specialty Care products and has prior sales experience from Pharma-company; experience in Gastroenterology or Rheumatology is an advantage
  • Assertive self-starter who possesses a high degree of self-confidence, intellectual curiosity, and demonstrates good executive presence
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills (English), with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

About the Role:

Based out of our Centrally located Showroom, Wristcheck Sales are enthusiastic, results driven and team oriented. As the face of Wristcheck, you'll be responsible for building relationships and delivering exceptional, high-touch experiences that exceed client expectations. We're looking for a natural people person with strong communication and a high bar for quality. You are passionate about people, watches and tech, and are genuinely excited about the prospect of revolutionising the buying and selling process. This position is a frontline sales role working within our private showroom in Hong Kong. This role is open to HK residents and visa holders only and will require the ability to work on a rotating shift roster.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Discuss, educate and advise on watch brands and models, as well as introduce new customers to Wristcheck services
  • Consistently hit and/or exceed individual sales targets to contribute to overall team success
  • Manage a book of existing clients, growing and nurturing your relationship with them to uncover new leads and opportunities
  • Utilize our CRM platform to manage and document new and existing customer relationships and interactions. Leverage the system to stay connected to customers and provide personalized experiences
  • Promptly and professionally follow up on leads generated by digital marketing campaigns
  • Provide the highest level of service and follow up at every opportunity, setting the stage for subsequent purchases, referrals and testimonials
  • Ensure all sales floor standards are maintained
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the watch industry, including market prices and conditions. Ensure you are well versed in historical pricing, watch specifications / condition / nuances for our catalog of consigned watches
  • Be a Wristcheck ambassador and represent our core values inside and outside of the workplace

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of luxury sales experience, ideally in a similar role in retail / auction house. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a Senior Sales Associate role.
  • A high level of professionalism and customer service with a demonstrated ability to connect and build relationships with entrepreneurs, executives and professionals from all industries
  • Strong knowledge and passion for watch brands and luxury timepieces
  • You have an existing rolodex of clients and industry knowledge of where to source supply of pre-owned watches
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter that is able to perform in a results-oriented and deadline driven environment
  • Able to work autonomously as well as an integral part of a highly motivated team
  • Naturally organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Mandarin and Cantonese, English is a bonus!
  • Able to work to a retail roster, including evening and occasional weekend work
