This role leads a sub team within Hospitality and F&B in managing the end-to-end procurement process. The Job
You will:
- Be responsible for demand planning of Hospitality, Recreation, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco related sub categories across the entire business and ensure Procurement's early involvement, e.g. Conduct demand planning on a regular basis for the sub categories within the non food cluster, drive actions associated with spend analysis and ensure appropriate category knowledge and data are maintained, incorporated into the strategies
- Develop and implement sub category plans within non food cluster which ensures supply availability, meets quality standards, and delivers best value to the Club, e.g. Identify potential targets for opportunity improvements and deliver year-on-year benefits for hospitality, recreation, beverages and tobacco

About You
You should have:
- A degree with professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 10-12 years of procurement experience
- Experience in Hospitality and F&B industry is preferred
- Prior exposure in global corporation, NGO, public and/or cultural sector would be advantageous
- Extensive expertise at a strategic level with a strong track record of success in delivering operational efficiency and financial savings
- Previous experience of conducting business process re-engineering and proven record of successful change management

- l This is a full time on site role for a Senior Strategic Buyer. Main location would be in China.
- l He/She would be responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchasing and procurement activities.
- l The role involves overseeing supply chain management to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. He/She need to collaborate with various internal department to understand their procurement needs and develop strong relationship with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- l Responsible for New project (NPI) quotation and development of new supplier based on competitive price, good quality, best lead time and service for new project.
- l Work with Quality and NPD teams to assess suppliers based on commercial, quality, social responsibility, C-TPAT, Engineering, Production and Logistics, as appropriate.
- l Participate in supplier management with PMC and Quality in respect of production capacity requirement, on-time delivery and production quality.
- l Update and upkeep supplier database, ensure accuracy on ongoing basis. Achieve cost savings towards the target cost level and follow through quotation of new projects and feedback quickly. Prepare reporting.
- l He/She should know about manufacturing process and would need to work on the data analysis for the Key performance Index (KPI)
- l Support Regional Free Cash flow metrics like payment terms improvement and roll out the required process and audit compliance for India, Portugal, Thailand & DR sourcing. Push FCF metrics across the regions.
Job Requirements:
- l Bachelor or equivalent. Around 3-5 years' related working experience.
- l Experience in supplier evaluation and contract /price negotiation.
- l Skills in strategic sourcing, purchasing and procurement and know about China /Thailand/India suppliers.
- l Proficiency in supply chain management, knowledge in ISO9000.
- l With process (BPR) experience and good at procedure and data analysis.
- l Strong analytical and problem solving skills, challenge to the status quo.
- l Project management skills would be a plus.
- l Ability to work independently and in a team environment, manufacturing industry.
