About the Role:API is seeking a seasoned professional to join as a Sourcing Specialist. This role involves managing procurement processes for airline clients with hotel partners in assigned markets, including market analysis, industry trend identification, sourcing strategy formation, negotiations, and producing evaluation reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
Essential Functions:- Manage hotel sourcing projects, perform market research, develop industry knowledge, and maintain business relationships.
- Handle RFP/RFI processes via API’s proprietary sourcing technology, assess suppliers, negotiate terms, and secure offers.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to develop sourcing strategies and identify opportunities like reverse auctions.
- Research market trends to develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Create detailed evaluation reports and presentations, articulating sourcing results clearly.
- Adapt quickly to changing market conditions and needs.
- Aim for win-win solutions in all projects.
- Update and track information in Salesforce.
- Arrange site inspections for clients and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Ensure response times meet airline SLAs.
- 2-3 years’ experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a global role dealing with international suppliers.
- 2+ years in the travel industry, working with airlines and hotels preferred.
- Strong English skills; multilingual skills (French, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi) a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented, results-driven, with negotiation experience.
- Ability to work under deadlines, multi-task, and adapt to diverse cultures.
- Flexible schedule, willing to work outside core hours if needed.
This position does not require travel.
Required Education and Experience:- High School diploma.
- Procurement sourcing experience.
- Experience in the travel industry preferred.
- Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
Remote (work from home) from any Asia Pacific region, including Hong Kong, India, Philippines, or Malaysia.
Position Type and Hours:Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with flexibility for global industry demands.

Aratum is looking for talented candidates located in Shenzhen, China.
Job Duties:
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics such as order fulfillment rate, lead times, inventory turnover, and logistics costs.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable reports to track progress towards plans.
- Optimize capacity for the business by balancing operational flexibility and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and manage daily logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Analyze drivers of significant forecast misses to continuously improve forecasting.
- Drive standardization of tools and processes to build scalable execution plans with business and operations teams.
- Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams in both domestic and international markets.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the logistics industry (preferably in international freight, warehousing, or transportation).
- Proficiency in Cantonese OR English language.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs clearance, and cross-border logistics.
