- Assist management in formulating and implementing performance management and HR management initiative. This includes designing incentive programs, performance assessments, personnel management, training projects to enhance branch business performance, improve employee management efficiency, and increase productivity.
- Oversee the frontline performance management and mechanism in relation to the Bank's and local regulatory requirements. Continuously monitor the performance of each distribution channel and the sales performance. Regularly review for enhancement to align with the market practices and overall business objectives, supporting frontline in achieving sales targets and objectives.

Provide insights and solutions to staff performance management and development to improve overall work efficiency and productivity
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for the management review.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to promote and implement the overall performance management and staff development strategies for frontline staff.
- University degree or above in any disciplines with 5 years working experience in banking or financial industry is preferred.
- Proven experience in frontline performance management, project management and people management.
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation capability.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, with great sense of ownership and responsibility to the assigned tasks.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin would be an advantage.

Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Support the CEO & Strategy office in the development of medium to long term strategic vision, including the execution of strategic Life and Health initiatives in line with the overarching Group and International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) business strategy
- Feasibility study on strategic initiatives, including Artificial Intelligence / health tech / channel expansion / proposition development etc through partnerships or M&A opportunities. Support preparation of business cases, market analysis and multi-faceted evaluations on both financial and non-financial aspects
- Deliver strategic agenda by closely partnering with key business stakeholders, including distribution, marketing, products, operations, health and other control functions
- Support the oversight of Financial Resources Plan (FRP) process, tracking of CEO scorecard and Key Performance Indicators for the HK & Macau Insurance businesses
- Prepare presentations and regular updates for Board, EXCO and various Insurance / IWPB Committees or Forums in relation to the strategic agenda and business performances
- Elevate business and operating performance by identifying barriers to success and recommending management actions
- Effective communication with stakeholders within HSBC Group as well as external trade organizations, regulators, and business partners etc
Requirements
To be successful you will need
- Educated to graduate degree level and ideally with additional applicable qualifications in relevant field (e.g. Finance, AI & tech)
- Experiences working in global financial / insurance institutions, and preferably technical knowledge in insurance, including accounting, actuarial and product concepts
- Good knowledge and awareness on external environments including market trends, technology and regulatory developments etc
- Competency in AI, programming, data science would be a plus

- 强大的数据分析能力,精通Excel/Power BI/SQL进行高级数据分析,能够从复杂数据中提炼洞察。
- 英语可作为工作语言,且沟通流利,具备在全球化团队中工作的能力。
- 对加密货币市场、交易产品(现货、合约)有浓厚兴趣和深入了解,自身是加密用户者更佳。
- 具备出色的项目管理能力和抗压能力,能适应Web3行业快节奏的变化。
优先考虑:
- 有使用SQL进行数据提取和分析的经验。
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience in online event operations, with a proven track record of successful event management in the Web3/cryptocurrency exchange space. You must be familiar with common crypto event mechanics.
- Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or SQL for advanced data analysis and the ability to derive insights from complex data.
- Fluent in English and Chinese with the ability to work effectively in a global team.
- A strong interest in and deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market and trading products (spot, futures). Being a crypto user yourself is a major plus.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle pressure, adapting to the fast-paced nature of the Web3 industry.

- Experience using SQL for data extraction and analysis.
