We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student for a one-year placement in their dynamic Web3 company in 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving web3 space. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of web3 project-based solutions.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
- Support the testing and debugging of blockchain applications.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
- Contribute to community engagement efforts, including participation in forums, social media, and events.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and the Web3 ecosystem.
- Knowledge in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Solidity, Rust or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

The Student Advocate Program offers high school students the opportunity to develop new skills through promoting the benefits of reading the FT to their friends and teachers as well as being the voice of the student to the FT. The FT Schools Team is receptive to new ideas, creative, and a great environment to develop new employability skills and make new connections.
Job Purpose
We are trying to make the FT more accessible to young people through Student Advocates by establishing relationships with high school students and teachers at secondary schools. The role of a Student Advocate is to promote the benefits of the FT at school and represent the voice of students to the FT by suggesting ideas for how we can be more relevant for teenagers. We hope that Student University Mentors can be the bridge between Student Advocates in schools and the FT. They will lead and motivate teams of 60 Student Advocates across the world, discuss new ideas and work closely with the Schools Team to transform the FT into something which is more compelling for young people.
Student University Mentors will be able to do their work remotely from home/university and will be in regular contact with the FT. The position is paid and is part time (12 hours per month spread throughout the month) and on a contract basis (duration roughly 6 months).
Key Responsibilities
Support a group of 60 Student Advocates by running two monthly calls and maintaining regular contact on Slack, helping them feel confident sharing ideas to boost FT visibility in schools
Communicate ideas clearly between the FT and Student Advocates, and work with the Schools team to put these ideas into action
Gather feedback from Advocates on ongoing projects and use this to help shape programme development
Keep teachers updated on their students’ progress through monthly emails and respond to any queries
Track student engagement by monitoring attendance, updating records and following up where needed to ensure active participation
Required Skills / Experience
This role would suit a current university student, looking for a part time position that they can work around their studies.
Be a current undergraduate or postgraduate university student
High levels of motivation and initiative
A keen interest in news and current affairs
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience mentoring young people or working with diverse groups
Familiarity with the FT/FT Schools (desirable)

Major Duties And Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Providing general administrative support to the daily work, routine operation of different projects and activities at Sports and Physical Education and SAO level;
- Preparing reports, maintaining records, and handling data and statistics related to sports programmes and activities;
- Handling enquiries from students and external parties and providing frontline services;
- Assisting in the co-ordination of USFHK competitions, sports programmes, activities and events, including sports facilities booking and management;
- Coordinating and liaising with internal and external parties at various levels; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree, preferably with relevant work experiences in tertiary education sector;
- A genuine interest in working with and for students;
- Proficient in written English, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and correspondence;
- High computer-literacy, excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills in English and Cantonese (including Putonghua);
- A high sense of self-motivation and ownership, fast learning, be a problem solver who is capable of working independently and collaboratively; and
- Strong passion for working with and helping students to enhance student engagement.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment

**WATER**

**Main Responsibilities**
+ Undergo graduate development programme to obtain a professional qualification in relevant discipline(s) (wherever applicable)
+ Perform assignments which require application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out tasks for further development of judgment and understanding on professional and ethical responsibilities
+ Develop solutions for technical problems under supervision
+ Provide reports, analysis, research and design documents on relevant projects as directed

**Qualifications**
**Core Requirements**
+ Final year students to be graduated in 2025 who are studying a Bachelor degree programme (for graduates other than UK) / Master degree programme (for UK graduates only) or above in relevant discipline(s) with regard to the business stream(s) applied
+ 2024 graduates with a Bachelor degree (for graduates other than UK) / Master degree programme (for UK graduates only) or above in relevant discipline(s) with less than 2 years of relevant experience will also be considered
+ Preferably with internship experience in related field but not a must
+ Good command of written and spoken English while good in Chinese is preferred
+ Positive attitude and passionate for professional development
