We invite now high calibre talent to apply for Senior Supply Chain Specialist and join our rapidly growing team in Hong Kong. This position supports developing competitive global ocean freight strategy with a fast-paced successful team.
The primary purpose of this role is to drive ocean freight commercial and operational activities, with the focus on reefer commodity and support the wider team which looks after global ocean freight management.
Responsibilities.
- Be the subject matter expert in the team on ocean freight operations
- Establish regular carrier performance reports and drive continuous improvement from service providers
- Analyze data and produce management reports in good quality
- Resolve ocean freight related operational escalated issues from different inbound markets
- Support ocean freight tender review, negotiations, cost, and service analysis to drive business decisions
- Administer the carrier service agreements and contract fulfilment compliance
- Analyze ocean freight market update and provide ocean freight market update to internal stakeholders
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements on ocean freight and identify solutions and establish processes to fulfill those business requirements
- Monitor risks related to shipment and trigger contingency plan to minimize impact to fulfilment
- Engage in Supply Chain Management projects, work with cross-functional team to drive harmonized end-to-end solution
- Support Manager on ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Your Profile.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in similar positions gained in sizable organization
- Data driven mindset with ability to dissect large sets of data
- Strong knowledge in ocean freight operations with direct carriers, NVOCC, and 3PLs, primarily but not limited to carrier forecasting and capacity management
- Understanding in ocean freight commercials, tender negotiations and contract administration
- Knowledge of reefer ocean operations is preferable
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with influence skills to drive positive results in a multi-functional team
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Main Purpose of Role
The Specialist of Supply Chain Sustainability, based in Hong Kong, will join the Hasbro Ethical Sourcing team to lead the monitoring of vendor performance, process and determine approval of licensee factory audit reports, conduct or shadow oversight audits of vendor and licensee factories in accordance with the Hasbro Global Business Ethics Principles. Focusing on vendor and Tier 2 supplier social compliance performance monitoring in China, Southeast Asia and other regions, he/she will report to the Manager of Supply Chain Sustainability (the "Manager").
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support vendor and factory performance; including review of social compliance audit reports, engagement with vendors on corrective action plans (CAPs) and support their remediation efforts by provide guidance on identify root cause, visit factories to review remediation progress and implement capability building initiatives; and assess vendor management systems; identifying gaps that should be addressed.
- Proactively engage and respond to retailers and licensors requests for social compliance audit reports and corrective action plans, proactively engage factory on remediation, monitor progress to satisfy customer requirements including related administrative requests; and monitor and update all licensors/retailers requirements as they evolve.
- Process licensee audit reports and assess licensee performance in Asia; including the review and assessment of licensee audit reports and engage with the Hasbro Consumer Product team to address issues.
- Conduct or shadow oversight audits factories and follow-up with the respective vendors and licensees on the results.
- Support the onboarding of Tier 2 suppliers and subcontractors, monitor their social compliance performance and maintain the Tier 2 suppliers and subcontractors data.
- Support and participate in special projects such as vendor training, capability building and worker well-being initiatives.
- Build relationships and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, such as Vendor Management, Commodity, Planning and Quality Assurance, to ensure alignment and continue to integrate ethical sourcing into business engagement.

Requirements
- Proven experience and knowledge in the human rights field, in-depth knowledge of labor, environmental, health and safety issues; solid understanding of global human rights and labor standards (e.g. ILO, UNGP) and ethical sourcing frameworks (e.g. ESCP, BSCI, SMETA), experience with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) would be a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Sustainability or related discipline or experience in a relevant field (i.e., law, policy, human rights).
- 3 - 5 years of experience in ethical sourcing, social compliance; auditing experience preferred.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and crisis management and an aptitude for learning.

- Proven experience and knowledge in the human rights field, in-depth knowledge of labor, environmental, health and safety issues; solid understanding of global human rights and labor standards (e.g. ILO, UNGP) and ethical sourcing frameworks (e.g. ESCP, BSCI, SMETA), experience with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) would be a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Sustainability or related discipline or experience in a relevant field (i.e., law, policy, human rights).
- 3 - 5 years of experience in ethical sourcing, social compliance; auditing experience preferred.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and crisis management and an aptitude for learning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate internally and externally.

- Fluent in English, and Cantonese or Mandarin.

Your Responsibilities
- Support on developing and implementing supply chain solutions to optimise processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Participate in project meetings to track project progress, manage project dependencies and project risks, and provide meeting minutes for record.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project related matters.
- Develop and maintain project management documents, such as project plan, risk log, decision log, etc.
- Manage project administrations, such as project meeting coordination, create meeting materials, meeting minutes.
- Manage project documents filing and Project SharePoint maintenance.
- Conduct market research and data analysis to facilitate the project if needed.
- Support the Department in other ad-hoc activities as assigned by Manager.
Your Requirements
- Degree Holder, major in Business/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ Project Management or equivalent.
- 2–3 years' experience in supply chain/logistics, knowledge on end-to-end supply chain operations process will be preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams across management and non-management levels.
- Ability to develop presentations and documents to effectively communicate project status.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Any Project involvement experience is a plus. Project Management certification is an advantage.
- Attention to details, good organization skills.
- Good command of both spoken and written business English.
- Ability to work independently, and complete assigned tasks on-time according to priority.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
