Job Description

1. Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive corporate sustainability strategies and policies as well as new sustainability initiatives including climate actions leading to carbon neutrality aligned with CASETiFY’s values and goals.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate certified recycled materials into all products and improve packaging sustainability by reducing material usage.
  • Drive the development of a circular economy approach, enhancing the company’s product recycling program to extend product life cycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to embed sustainability into all aspects of the business, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Research and source certified recycled materials to incorporate into product design and manufacturing.
  • Work closely with suppliers and product teams to ensure materials meet sustainability standards while maintaining product quality and performance.
  • Develop and implement sustainable packaging solutions that minimize environmental impact and reduce waste.

3. Circular Economy & Recycling Program Enhancement

  • Expand and improve the company’s product recycling program, creating pathways for second-life product use and material recovery.
  • Partner with logistics, retail, and manufacturing teams to ensure an efficient take-back and recycling process.
  • Engage customers and partners in recycling initiatives, enhancing participation and awareness.

4. Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance

  • Establish and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor sustainability performance, ensuring measurable progress toward environmental goals.
  • Prepare detailed sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and compliance with global sustainability standards.
  • Stay informed on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and certifications to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with international guidelines.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Training

  • Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to drive sustainability awareness and adoption across the business.
  • Provide training programs and resources to educate employees and partners on sustainability best practices and the company’s sustainability commitments.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, sustainability networks, and regulatory discussions to strengthen corporate sustainability leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science/Engineering/Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in corporate sustainability, preferably within the consumer goods, manufacturing, or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable materials, packaging innovations, and circular economy principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability programs, including product recycling initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze data, set sustainability KPIs, and report on progress.
  • Excellent presentation, project management and organizational skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of sustainability/ESG planning and reporting, with a strong understanding of ESG disclosure standards
  • Well versed in greenhouse gas emissions accounting in compliance with ISO standards and the GHG Protocol
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

  • Identify and manage environmental sustainability issues, concerns and stakeholder interests relevant to the company.
  • Coordinate with various teams and internal/external stakeholders to design environmental impact reduction strategies and lead the implementation of prioritized initiatives to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Roll out systems to measure the progress of environmental initiatives. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these initiatives with an aim to achieve set environmental and targets.
  • Assist in establishing sustainability targets for business units, lead verification work and analyze data for corporate reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or Sustainability.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in sustainability or corporate social responsibility. Experiences in working with supply chain partners/factories, particularly in hardgoods and/or packaging sustainability, would be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of corporate environmental issues including energy, greenhouse gas emissions, science-based targets, water management, waste reduction, and effective goal-setting, as well as, designing initiatives for reduction and measuring progress.
  • Skilled in securing stakeholder support for implementing environmental initiatives and programs both internally and externally in a large organization
  • Proficient in technical environmental footprint calculation methodologies and frameworks.
  • Proven track records in implementing sustainability solutions in supply chain and managing environmental programs against set KPIs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization, with cross-functional teams across various geographical regions to deliver result in a timely manner, respond to changing demands, anticipate potential issues, and recommend preventive courses of action.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership and key external stakeholders.

Senior Officer, Corporate Responsibility

The Senior Corporate Responsibility Officer is responsible for monitoring and advancing legal, social, and environmental compliance of vendors in our supply chain. This position will collaborate with interdepartmental stakeholders, external parties, and suppliers to coordinate vendor onboarding, including the audit process, project implementations, and performance reporting and remediation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate smooth social compliance onboarding audit process for vendors of all tiers.
  2. Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with Tory Burch’s code of conduct through regular training, communication, remediation, and managing vendor corrective action plans.
  3. Manage social compliance data for vendors in PLM, including factory audit status, with regular reporting to management.
  4. Develop and conduct training programs for suppliers, internal teams, and sourcing teams on compliance processes and related topics.
  5. Work with the PLM team to enhance and update reporting tools.
  6. Support quarterly statistical analysis on social compliance audit programs and scorecards to communicate performance to sourcing teams.
  7. Conduct risk evaluations and assessments of suppliers based on social risk levels.
  8. Collaborate with the Sustainability Team on traceability projects through supplier mapping and social assessments.
  9. Travel to factories to ensure compliance and build relationships with key suppliers.
  10. Implement and facilitate worker well-being initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
  11. Conduct research and benchmarking on corporate responsibility and social trends in the industry and country.
  12. Support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Environmental/Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in CSR, social compliance, sustainability, supply chain, or global sourcing.
  • Experience in a sizeable Fashion Apparel/Footwear organization is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CSR, labor, environmental, health & safety regulations, and international standards preferred.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools like MicroStrategy or Tableau.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Our S&O team will work closely with our reporting, assurance and regulatory specialists to bring the right capability to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high quality client engagements and work streams related to KPMG’s services; applying your knowledge and experience to meet client expectations under the direction of senior team members and while managing and delegating to project team members
  • Driving collaboration and team-based working; building internal capacity of new and less experienced team members, including facilitating / participating in knowledge sharing, and establishing and enhancing internal relationships to strengthen awareness across KPMG
  • Participating in sustainability, social impact and corporate responsibility related business development activities such as proposal development and topical campaigns
  • Supporting client relationship management, attendance of events and conference, and staying involved in broader industry activities
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of latest developments and methodologies in sustainability, social impact and corporate responsibility including select subtopics such as sustainable supply chain, or sustainable finance, decarbonization or circular economy
  • Being passionate about areas of expertise, managing your own development by learning continuously from experience and seeking out development opportunities


Experience & Background

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated role such as corporate social sustainability and responsibility, social impact or change, community investment and/or the management of social risks and impacts
  • Previous management consulting experience is highly desirable
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Bachelor degree or above) in social research, client change, sustainable development, social impact and/or related disciplines such as sustainable finance, supply chain or decarbonization
  • Understanding of social impact and corporate responsibility issues, trends, standards and guidelines such as AA1000, GRI Standards, the UN Global Compact Principles, the Guiding Principles on Business & HR, etc.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to think critically and take a challenging yet constructive approach
  • Ability to work at pace, and at times under high pressure, while maintaining sound judgment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in both written and oral English; at least proficient in Chinese
