Team Structure
The IT Systems Engineer (ITSE) joins our IT team to deliver excellent service support to users in Hong Kong and across Asia. You will be involved in firm-wide IT and infrastructure projects, collaborating with teams in Europe and Asia to enhance our technical platforms and systems.

Main Responsibilities
Your duties include support work for the IT team and assisting other teams as needed. Key responsibilities include:

• Being the first point of contact for onsite support.
• Providing remote and desk-side support based on end-user needs.
• Managing tickets efficiently, escalating issues as necessary.
• Owning and updating tickets within the Service Management platform.
• Resolving issues or delegating complex tasks to the 3rd Line Team.
• Communicating ticket progress to end users.
• Building and configuring equipment for new joiners.
• Collaborating with other IT Engineers to support operations and technical needs.
• Identifying trends in support calls for problem management.
• Escalating urgent issues to the IT Service Manager.
• Coordinating with third-party vendors for troubleshooting.
• Creating and maintaining knowledge base articles.
• Suggesting improvements for user guidance.
• Supporting on-site events, such as video conferences.
• Maintaining IT equipment inventory and planning stock levels.
• Assisting with ad hoc projects as required.

Attributes/Skills Required

Technical Skills:

• Support experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Citrix, VPN, and legal applications like iManage, Aderant.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar platforms, Ivanti Endpoint Security, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of AV setups, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and client-side troubleshooting for iManage Work 10.

The Critical Services Delivery team is responsible for designing and building HKEX IT infrastructure for core mission critical systems. We are seeking a Linux Engineer to manage IT infrastructure projects, as well as internal process automation and improvement.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work closely with the Critical Service Delivery Lead in managing critical IT solutions implementation. You will also collaborate with the Critical Service Support and Engineering team on technical solutions and support.
Responsibilities:

• Partner with application teams on IT solution implementations.
• Interact with internal and external parties on planning and execution.
• Follow project plan to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Compile project and technical documents, such as project plans, technical specifications, and test reports.
• Implement and manage automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  

• Degree in Computer Science, Information System or IT related disciplines.
• 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration, troubleshooting and security hardening experience.
• Hands on experience in Linux OS configuration, troubleshooting and security hardening.
• Willing to work on weekends for server setup and testing.
• Good team player with aspirations for career development in top tier financial industry.
