Major Duties:
The appointee(s) would take up duties in the following area:
(a)
Digitalisation
(i)
To lead the implementation of digital solutions that enhance workplace productivity, teaching and learning experiences, and smart campus operations, in line with VTC's strategies and technological trends;
(ii)
To manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders for effective planning, development and delivery of digital platforms and services; and
(iii)
To drive innovation and transformation across strategic digital areas, including learning management systems, workflow automation, AI-powered agents, smart campus technologies, collaboration platforms and digital infrastructure.
(b)
Infrastructure Management
(i)
To oversee the design, maintenance and optimisation of IT infrastructure across domains, including network & Wi-Fi systems, enterprise servers, database platforms, container platforms, virtualisation and cloud services to ensure high performance, scalability and reliability;
(ii)
To oversee the implementation and support infrastructure technologies;
(iii)
To manage budgeting, resource allocation and vendor procurement for IT projects; and
(iv)
To foster cross-team and vendor collaboration to maintain system security, compliance and performance, aligning with VTC's strategic goals and initiatives.
Requirements:
(a)
A recognised degree in IT or equivalent with at least 5 years' relevant work experience;
(b)
Experience in project management is highly preferred;
(c)
Good supervisory skills, interpersonal skills and be a good team player; and
(d)
Proficiency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities
