Job Duties:

As Senior Systems Manager, you will be collaborate with our experts in Critical Service Engineering to perform system design, defining infrastructure technology roadmaps and developing comprehensive architectural plans that align with our business objectives. We play a critical role to maintain these company-wise systems that are critical to daily business operation. We also partner other IT teams to support our systems in such fast growing financial markets in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Provide design to virtualization and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift) to support enterprise workloads.
• Develop and maintain container cluster architecture, including node planning, storage design, and network configuration
• Automate deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of containerized applications using CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluation different infrastructure solutions including new technologies to provide best fit solution for various projects.
• Implement and support infrastructure solutions in sophisticated, high-performance trading environments that demand stability, high throughput and low latency;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define system requirements.
• Provide advice for operating policies, technical architecture and configuration of infrastructure system;
• Create detailed documentation for system architecture and design.
• Oversee the implementation of new systems and infrastructure.
• Define standard approaches and configurations for infrastructure technologies including monitoring, troubleshooting, installation, patching and upgrade, performance tuning, backup and recovery, testing, capacity planning, etc.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project and BAU teams.
• Review project and BAU team’s deliverables to ensure highest quality delivery and implementation
  
  

• Degree holder in Computer science, Computer engineering, information technology or relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in IT infrastructure support and system design;
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
• Experience in system and network administration.
• Hands-on experience in developing script solutions for process improvement and automation would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of storage solutions and database technologies is a plus.

IT Operations and Systems is the Service owner responsible for; IT Data Computing facilities; production Infrastructure platforms; Incident, Change, Problem, Resilience, Capacity, Configuration, Procurement functions; Service Assurance and Quality management; and Level 1 /2 system support functions.

The Job

You will:

• Drive the uplifting of testing environments, ensuring they are improved and optimized to meet current and future testing demands
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of test environments to ensure they are reliable, functional, and capable of supporting regular releases, individual releases and production
• Work with system owners, IT teams, and stakeholders to address identified gaps, refine defined strategies, and ensure project progress and deliverables align with the plan
• Work closely with SA Test Managers to arrange SIT, SAT and Performance Tests, ensuring the environments support rigorous and comprehensive testing activities
• Plan, lead, and monitor uplifting projects while managing resources, schedules, risks, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
• Coordinate with the testing team to implement test automation capabilities as part of the test environment uplift, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency throughout the transition
  
  
  

• Degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in software/system testing including test environment management, and at least 5 years of management experience in leading teams and building relationships across various levels
• Experienced in working around large-scale and complex systems environments and be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver projects on time and with quality
• Detailed understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, quality assurance process, methodologies and best practices
• Ability to identify gaps, provide insights, and recommend improvements to align test environments with production needs
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken), Cantonese and Putonghua are preferred
• Solid working knowledge of Software Quality Assurance processes, methodologies, tools and best practices

Job Summary:

Application is responsible for the design, implementation, and application support of HKEX’s market systems for clearing and settlement. Job Duties:

The incumbent will be responsible for IT project implementation and application development on Post - Trade Systems. The candidate should be an experienced IT professional with experience gained in the implementation of critical application systems on Linux platform.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for system development and project implementation activities including the business requirement analysis, resource management, application development and documentation.
• Design and develop systems with modern technologies, eg Cloud.
• Collaborate with teams across IT departments in various aspects.
• Provide production system support.
• Lead and develop a group of s/w developers in HK and China such as Shenzhen.
• Undertake any other assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor.
  
  

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in software development in large scale systems and mission critical in nature.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in leading a team of s/w developers.
• Solid knowledge in Linux, Database, CI/CD and Cloud technologies.
• Strong skills of programming languages: Java, Javascript, SQL and shell programming.
• Experience in OpenAPI and application security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, etc.) will be an advantage.
• Good analytic mind, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in SDLC methodology and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT professional with expertise in implementing and onboarding Generative/ Traditional AI use cases to join HKEX to fill the position of Assistant Vice President- Application Implementation Specialist in IT Corporate Web Services team. As an IT Application Implementation Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving the successful deployment and integration of Generative/ Traditional AI solutions across HKEX.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generative AI Implementation: Lead and oversee the implementation of Generative AI use cases including natural language processing and computer vision, leveraging your experience and knowledge in this domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, develop implementation plans, and execute end-to-end implementation lifecycles.
• Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance and support in designing, developing, and implementing Generative AI solutions, prompt engineering strategies to guide the foundation model's behavior and generate desired outputs. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify and evaluate suitable foundation models for fine-tuning. Optimize and enhance generative AI models for scalability, speed, and resource efficiency. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Generative AI, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and optimize implementation approaches.
• Project Management: Take ownership of project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and issue resolution. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to project milestones, and effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product vendors, and other IT teams to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and ensure smooth integration into existing IT systems. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status
  
  

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of solutions. Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during the implementation process.
• Documentation and Training: Create detailed technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and enable end-users to effectively leverage solutions. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on the functionalities and benefits of the implemented solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization. Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future implementations.
  
  

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in IT application implementation.
• Generative AI Expertise: Strong proficiency in generative AI models, deep learning frameworks, and expertise in leading end-to-end implementation of generative AI solutions. In-depth knowledge of prompt engineering techniques to shape and control model outputs. Experience in fine-tuning language models. Knowledge of model deployment and efficiency optimization.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity and understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Alibab, GCP) and knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements, identify potential challenges, and devise innovative solutions.
