We are now seeking the right candidate to join our Hong Kong Tax team. This is the position for those who aspire to develop their career as a professional tax advisor in private wealth tax planning, Corporate Tax advisory and compliance, tax audits, and related investigations.

What you can expect

• Handle day-to-day tax compliance assignments, coached by seniors and managers
• Conduct research on tax issues and review tax provisions to build your expertise in tax advisory
• Support seniors and managers in a wide range of projects and gain exposure from different industries and sectors
• Assist in tax consulting for M&A, IPO, and ad hoc projects

Who we are looking for

• University graduates with accounting related degree. Overseas graduates are also welcome
• Excellent communication skills, analytical, management, and organization skills
• A team player who can also handle assignments independently and meet tight deadlines

Job Duties: -

Handle Hong Kong Profits Tax and Salaries Tax compliance and advisory engagements

• Draft reply letters to IRD queries
• Participate in field audits and investigations, prepare analyses and other special jobs
• Prepare applications for certificates of resident status
• Prepare transfer pricing documentations (Master file and local file) and advisory
• Perform other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements:-

• Degree or above
• Student member / ,member of HKICPA/ACCA/CPA Australia or equivalent
• Basic PRC Tax Knowledge is advantageous but not essential
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Mandarin is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and the ERP system, including payment validation and recording non-trade expenses.
• Ability to automate transactions reconciliation and arrange international payments via bank and effectively managing account receivables and account payables
• Strengthen internal controls, work processes  and ensure efficient financial procedures.
• Liaise with external international group auditors for statutory audits and tax filings (IFRS)
• Effective data management and data analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting-related experience.
• Qualified ACCA/HKICPA or equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification preferred.

• Knowledge of the ERP system is highly preferred.
