This role offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to manage the group tax compliance and tax accounting and will collaborate with tax team members on several key work streams of the tax function including transfer pricing structuring and tax/finance technology projects.
Reporting to the SVP – Global Head of Tax, the successful candidate will lead a team of direct reports and play a lead role in the group audit review of tax with external auditors and participate in transactions and structuring initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who leads by example, implements tax plans and works with cross-functional teams to identify value creation opportunities and strategies to mitigate tax risk.
Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance agenda and implementation of group tax compliance policies in all jurisdictions
- Review and manage consolidated and key subsidiary quarterly income tax provisions and deferred tax calculations, in accordance with ASC740 and IFRS, including related footnote disclosures
- Prepare tax management reporting and modelling of the ETR and cash taxes
- Manage tax audit review processes with external group auditors
- Lead tax accounting aspects of acquisitions and other transactional activities
- Lead future tax technology projects related to tax accounting, reporting, tax compliance and transfer pricing
- Work closely with the transfer pricing team and review aspects of key intercompany transactions (financing, support services)
- Lead or assist with other special projects and process improvements
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience with Big 4 public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax department in a public company
- Strong background in ASC740 and IFRS tax accounting and reporting and leading compliance processes
- Proven experience with managing complex international tax matters
- Experience with implementation of tax accounting or tax compliance technological solutions
- Experience with managing tax matters in multiple countries is preferred
- Understanding of transfer pricing principles and their practical implementation
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and communication skills
- A high-level of intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and open-minded personality and "Hands-on" work mentality

We are seeking an Associate Director of Tax Accounting to lead the Company's tax accounting and reporting functions through a period of growth and IPO readiness. This role will be the bridge between our global tax strategy and execution, ensuring accurate tax reporting, SOX-aligned controls, and high-quality disclosures in our financial statements and IPO S-1 filing. - Own preparation and accuracy of all tax disclosures for financial reports, including the Company's S-1 filing.

Responsibilities
· Responsible for daily financial and tax management for Hong Kong and Singapore office, collaborating closely with the finance team of HQ to handle overseas financial management and tax planning, control and lower tax-related risks.
· Responsible for interpreting overseas (Hong Kong and Singapore) tax policies, assisting the finance team of HQ in formulating solutions for handling overseas tax-related matters.
· Prepare financial statements in accordance with Hong Kong/Singapore accounting standards based on the domestic audits, coordinate with external audit teams to finish the annual audit.
· Manage all tax-related matters for Hong Kong and Singapore office, including but not limited to tax declaration, handling and responding to tax correspondence in collaboration with external auditors.
· Assist in ad-hoc assignments as required, such as liaising with the company secretary, the Companies Registry, and others.

- 領導交辦的其他工作,包括對接公司秘書、公司註冊處相關公司以及其他臨時安排的工作。 
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
· 2-3 years of relevant work experience, with solid knowledge of professional financial and tax knowledge, including Hong Kong/Singapore and mainland China accounting standards and tax regulations. Candidates with experience at the Big Four or in international tax roles are preferred. CPA or ACCA certificate qualifications is preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese(Mandarin) and English.
· Proficient in various office software and financial software; prior experience with Yongyou NCC is a plus.
· Capable of independent work while demonstrating strong teamwork skills, with outstanding problem-solving and communication abilities.
· Self-motivated, highly responsible, and possessing strong professional ethics.
