Your Key Responsibilities
Your role is to provide technical administrative support in Tax Department, assist in Accounting, Compliance & reporting related engagements and co-ordinate work with clients.
Requirements:
To qualify for the role you must have
- Higher Diploma in Accounting is an advantage but not required
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin
- Able to multitask and work under pressure
- Mature, independent and takes initiative
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

You’ll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You may participate in preparing or reviewing income tax returns for complex organizations in diverse and specialized industries; identifying tax savings and risk reducing opportunities for consideration and implementation; preparing or reviewing the statutory accounts for a domestic or foreign client; and preparing estimated tax liabilities to assist the client in meeting its tax payment obligations.

- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties

- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (MBA, Masters of Tax and LLM a plus) with strong academic credentials
- A minimum of 2 years of Hong Kong corporate tax experience gained from the financial industry or public accounting firm is desirable

As a Business Tax Services Staff Accountant / Manager, you’ll make technical contributions to business tax compliance and tax advisory engagements. You’ll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You may participate in preparing or reviewing income tax returns for complex organizations in diverse and specialized industries; identifying tax savings and risk reducing opportunities for consideration and implementation; preparing or reviewing the statutory accounts for a domestic or foreign client; and preparing estimated tax liabilities to assist the client in meeting its tax payment obligations.

To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (MBA, Masters of Tax and LLM a plus) with strong academic credentials
- 5 years above Macau corporate tax experience gained from the financial industry or public accounting firm is desirable. Less experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Accountant
- Professional accountancy qualification or working towards gaining one
- Strong negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges
- Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams
- Fluent English and Cantonese, Mandarin will be an advantage
- The work location is based at Macau

The opportunity
As a Global Compliance and Reporting Senior Accountant, you'll make technical contributions to business tax compliance and advisory engagements. Working closely with colleagues, you'll determine whether the work is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with our Quality & Risk Management guidelines. Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate tax compliance work for clients
- Develop budgets, determine resource requirements, and direct/monitor engagements
- Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and ensure outstanding client service. Team with tax professionals to provide comprehensive tax services
- Determine all information required to ensure/complete accurate tax compliance products within the budget. Formulate a plan to gather/communicate information
- Oversee the issues management process and adapt to challenges in the compliance process. Ensure the acceptance of the product by appropriate parties
- Lead and team with talented and innovative professionals dedicated to client service
- Participate in managing a compliance group by assisting with forecasting future compliance work, delegating work effectively, and resolving staffing issues
- Share knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery. Facilitate open communication and supervise staff and peers
- Contribute to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters development and a positive attitude
- University graduates with a minimum of 5 years of experience for Manager
- A CPA, CTA, law license or other certification relevant to an area of specialization
- General knowledge of tax laws with specialized knowledge in one or more technical areas
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with both management and clients
- Excellent supervisory, analytical, organizational, and leadership ability
- Proven ability of managing complex and sizable assignments
- A commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
