Your Key Responsibilities
Your role is to provide technical administrative support in Tax Department, assist in Accounting, Compliance & reporting related engagements and co-ordinate work with clients. 
Requirements:
To qualify for the role you must have
- Higher Diploma in Accounting is an advantage but not required
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin
- Able to multitask and work under pressure
- Mature, independent and takes initiative
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Your key responsibilities
As a Business Tax Services Senior, you'll make technical contributions to business tax compliance and tax advisory engagements. You'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You may participate in preparing or reviewing income tax returns for complex organizations in diverse and specialized industries; identifying tax savings and risk reducing opportunities for consideration and implementation; preparing or reviewing the statutory accounts for a domestic or foreign client; and preparing estimated tax liabilities to assist the client in meeting its tax payment obligations.

- Demonstrate a good knowledge of PRC GAAP, IFRS and/or US GAAP

This role offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to manage the group tax compliance and tax accounting and will collaborate with tax team members on several key work streams of the tax function including transfer pricing structuring and tax/finance technology projects.
Reporting to the SVP – Global Head of Tax, the successful candidate will lead a team of direct reports and play a lead role in the group audit review of tax with external auditors and participate in transactions and structuring initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who leads by example, implements tax plans and works with cross-functional teams to identify value creation opportunities and strategies to mitigate tax risk.
Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance agenda and implementation of group tax compliance policies in all jurisdictions
- Review and manage consolidated and key subsidiary quarterly income tax provisions and deferred tax calculations, in accordance with ASC740 and IFRS, including related footnote disclosures
- Prepare tax management reporting and modelling of the ETR and cash taxes
- Manage tax audit review processes with external group auditors
- Lead tax accounting aspects of acquisitions and other transactional activities
- Lead future tax technology projects related to tax accounting, reporting, tax compliance and transfer pricing
- Work closely with the transfer pricing team and review aspects of key intercompany transactions (financing, support services)
- Lead or assist with other special projects and process improvements
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience with Big 4 public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax department in a public company
- Strong background in ASC740 and IFRS tax accounting and reporting and leading compliance processes
- Proven experience with managing complex international tax matters
- Experience with implementation of tax accounting or tax compliance technological solutions
- Experience with managing tax matters in multiple countries is preferred
- Understanding of transfer pricing principles and their practical implementation
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and communication skills
- A high-level of intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and open-minded personality and "Hands-on" work mentality

*About the Role *
We are seeking an Associate Director of Tax Accounting to lead the Company's tax accounting and reporting functions through a period of growth and IPO readiness. This role will be the bridge between our global tax strategy and execution, ensuring accurate tax reporting, SOX-aligned controls, and high-quality disclosures in our financial statements and IPO S-1 filing. You will oversee all taxes reflected in our financial reports (including Deel-related reporting), partner with senior leadership to operationalize tax strategies, and serve as the key point of contact for auditors and external advisors.
*Key Responsibilities *
- IPO Readiness & Reporting 
- Own preparation and accuracy of all tax disclosures for financial reports, including the Company's S-1 filing. 
- Translate high-level tax strategy into clear, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax provisions, effective tax rate (ETR) calculations, and related disclosures under ASC 740 / IAS 12.
- Tax Accounting & Compliance 
- Oversee preparation and review of global income tax returns and related filings across multiple jurisdictions. 
- Ensure accuracy of indirect tax reporting (VAT, GST, Withholding Tax, and other levies).
- Maintain reconciliations of tax accounts, deferred tax positions, and relevant supporting workpapers.
- Controls & SOX 
- Lead design, implementation, and alignment of SOX-compliant processes and internal controls over tax accounting and reporting. 
- Partner with finance, legal, and internal audit teams to ensure control frameworks are documented, tested, and operating effectively.
- Advisory & Strategy Execution 
- Serve as the key partner to senior tax leadership in operationalizing global tax strategies. 
- Liaise with external auditors, advisors, and regulators, ensuring strong alignment and proactive issue resolution.
- Monitor tax law changes and assess implications for IPO reporting and long-term tax positions.

- Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or related field.=
- CPA (or equivalent certification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA) strongly preferred; MBA or JD is a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive corporate tax experience in multinational settings and/or Big4, with proven experience in tax accounting for public companies or IPO processes.
- Deep expertise in ASC 740 / IAS 12, tax provisions, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS and relevant tax laws across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated experience establishing and operating SOX-aligned processes and internal controls.
- Exceptional communicator who can clearly translate complex tax concepts into actionable insights for finance, legal, and business teams.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment.
- Advanced Excel and ERP/tax software skills; familiarity with tools like OneSource, GoSystem, SAP, or similar.
