Role Purpose
- Deliver approved CRM courses for Flight Crew and Cabin Crew;
- Develop and maintain courses and activities to be delivered;
- Advise Flight Operations in the aspect of international practices in the field of CRM;
- Develop initiatives that shall address, and prevent aircraft accidents and incidents attributable to Human Error;
- Develop Threat & Error Management;
- Work closely with the Safety Manager on Human Factor issues and on LOSA results;
- Such other duties as may be assigned to him by the Training Manager.
The Ideal Candidate
- Educational competence and experience;
- Minimum 3 years of experience;
- A current Cabin Crew member of Hong Kong Express Airways;
- Understanding of the implications and importance of non-technical skills for the safe operations;
- Been trained in human performance and human factors principles;
- After a positive evaluation, the candidate will be trained in company related safety matters;
- Basic teaching skills, appropriate background and motivation;
- Good command of spoken English;
- Good communication skills and positive attitude.
Please note that with effect from 1 June 2022 onwards, all HK Express employees and contractors who work in our premises in Hong Kong must have received a third dose of COVID 19 vaccine. Being tested regularly for COVID-19 is not an option. Consideration will be given to those who are unable to get vaccinated for valid medical reasons.

This Role:
Position Objective
To engage playgroup participants in a high-quality playgroup environment based upon Biblical Worldview principles that nurtures the whole child.
Description
The Playgroup Facilitator will be responsible for the day to day running of the playgroup sessions to ensure safe, stimulating play and to provide for the needs of the whole child.
Reporting Line
The position holder reports directly to the Principal of Small World Christian Kindergarten, who reports to the Executive Director of Generations Christian Education.
Responsibilities
A. To ensure the Playgroup programme
- Deliver playgroup programmes for participants (young children and their caregivers).
- Prepare programme materials and setting for playgroup activities.
- Establish positive working relationships with participants and act as a role model.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for participants to explore, manipulate and use, both in activities and in imaginative play.
- Organise and lead activities, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
- Encourage all participants to interact cooperatively with others and to engage all participants in activities.
- Select, store, order, issue and inventory playroom equipment, materials and supplies.
- Maintain activities, play environment and equipment to ensure the safety of participants.
- Provide positive guidance as caregivers help children develop self-control.
- Take time to listen and respond to participants and encourage them in their play.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that participants understand.
- Establish positive and constructive relationships with parents and caregivers.
B. Community
- Communicate with parents providing regular and proactive updates and information about their child's participation in the playgroup sessions.
- To be a positive representative in the community that encourages them to support the Vision and Mission of Generations.
C. Administration
- Prepare weekly updates for parents and caregivers.
- Prepare reports and certificates of attendance for children every term/school year.
- Ensure that play room administrative duties are carried out promptly and thoroughly such as distribution of letters and information to parents, collection and processing of moneys and forms, submission of internal forms.
D. Risk Management
- Monitor participants and the environment for safety and security. Identify areas of risk and work with the Principal and other staff to improve safety and security for all people and property.
E. Other duties as necessary and related.
Organisational Relationships
A. Internal Liaisons: Executive Director, Principal, School teaching and non-teaching staff, Parents, Students and Custodians
B. External Liaisons: New and interested Students and Parents, Vendors, Guests
Accountability & Extent of Authority
The position holder must ensure that he/she operates in accordance with the specific objectives and strategies determined for the effective management of the Group and its Schools' resources and that decisions made by the position holder are subject to review by the Principal or his/her delegate.

- Native English speaker
- Enthusiastic, energetic, committed, outgoing, patient, creative and love children
- Experience with the EYFS programme can be an advantage
B. Qualifications
- At least 1 year relevant working experience
