Job Description
- Liaison between Ariat HQ technical design team and factories
- Monitor and ensure factories execute per Ariat standards in construction, fit, and workmanship for the development cycle
- Review samples before sending to HQ; measure, evaluate and ensure sample is accurate
- Manage and communicate process and product challenges throughout the development process
- Works closely with the factories and production teams in resolving potential problems in advance
- Assists the Senior Director in improving and upleveling Ariat standards inclusive of but not limited to:
- Co-managing block building with vendors
- Reviewing and building out better tools for fit standards

- 10+ years of experience in garment development; woven & knit tops, dresses, technical outerwear, tailored garments, soft bottoms, equestrian show apparel a plus
- A deep expertise and understanding of fit, patternmaking, grading, technical construction, costing, and fabrics
- A trained eye for proportion, balance and aesthetic details
- The ability to command a room and lead projects, meetings, fit sessions
- Extensive experience working with factories; full understanding of equipment, garment cutting/sewing/QA/QC process
- Proficiency in computer skills; use of Adobe Illustrator, MS Office Suite; Centric PLM (or similar PLM system), and 2D patternmaking systems (Accumark a plus), 3D experience (CLO a plus)
- Exceptional multi-tasker and communicator, extremely detail oriented, and possess exceptional organizational skills
- An energized approach to collaboration and strong influence with partners and vendors
- Are fast acting and adapts to change quickly
- Passion for managing a product lifecycle and meeting deadlines
- Curiosity and zest for improving process and efficiency
NOTE:
This position will require travel to vendors and factories up to 50-75% of the time.
Working location-open, but will travel in India, BD, Indonesia, VTM

The AVP, Technical Architect will provide strategic leadership and direction for the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring its availability, security, and alignment with business objectives. 2. DIMENSION
Reporting to Vice President, Technical Service and Network, the job holder will lead a team of over 30+ IT professionals.
3. ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead the development and execution of the company's technology infrastructure strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
- Provide architectural vision and leadership, identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
- Oversee the planning, project management, and implementation of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Establish and maintain enterprise standards, technology architecture, and IT operations governance processes.
- Conduct product and vendor evaluations, ensuring the selection of best-in-class technologies and partners.
- Manage strategic vendor partner relationships, including governance and performance monitoring.

- Professional qualification especially on Cyber Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL etc. - optional, but desirable).

- Knowledge and exposure in ETL architectures and implementations (Flink, Spark streaming)
- Robust fundamentals in data architecture (Not only RDBMS, but columnar databases, search engines, ElasticSearch, Solr, ELK, Cassandra, HBase, Cloud-based Spanner, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Strong fundamentals in maintaining clean code, styling, best practices, algorithmic performance, performance and crash-free robust software architectures.

This position will have responsibility for the end to end experience design and execution, leading customer research activities, social listening, and conducting stakeholder interview and brainstorming workshops. Subsequently, you will be responsible for devising the client’s experience strategy to fulfil goals in customer acquisition, retention and advocacy. And, working in collaboration with our business analyst and product engineers, to develop solutions and continue to evolve and iterate designs in an agile manner. Teaming between practitioners, client resources, and third party partners is critical to this role.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Deliver on all aspects of user experience design, from strategy formulation to UXUI execution.
- Lead business case development with good knowledge in articulating and balancing business needs with user needs
- Coordinate brainstorming workshop, set up the logistics and customize the workshop materials. You will be responsible for running the sessions, ensuring the team stays on track, and keeping a high-level view toward targetted outcome.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineering, project managers, client executives and users to deliver on projects
- Consolidate business goals, user and technology requirements to drive design decisioning
- Enforce good practices in user validation and testing of ideas
- Champion design driven methodology, advocate for the end user’s needs and positive user experiences and crafting logical UX and beautiful UI.
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Design, similar discipline or non-design degree with design bootcamp training
- Have a design portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices
- Good understanding of product design and product management practices
- 1-3 years of experience in Product/ Service/ UXUI Design
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business or experience problems
- Familiarity with workshopping techniques and ability to facilitate a diverse group to a desired outcome
- Demonstrated ability to work in a client facing environment
- Strong professional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- English, Cantonese: Fluent Mandarin is a plus
