Develop and manage the technical specification packages for apparel prototypes.
**Your Impact**
+ Contribute ideas for construction, materials and components to enhance functionality, and aesthetic and fit.
+ Build and review technical packages for one or more categories
+ Support maintenance of Fit Block Libraries
+ Conduct fit sessions on body form and/or live models, including size sets
+ Able to identify fit issues, perform fit adjustments and communicate changes to improve fit and function
+ Assist with establishing 2D/3D pattern blocks and provides oversight to pattern block library management. Recommend changes to grading to achieve the best fit across size range
+ Analyze samples to identify discrepancies prior to fitting. Ensure samples reflect established category standards for fit, construction and quality
+ Analyzes artwork to identify risk, assist with establishing standards, identify quality issues and approve strike offs
+ Owns cross functional meeting communication for the development team. Must be able to effectively solve problems with design, costing, quality and delivery issues
+ Independently communicate with vendors to solve problems and all issues related to garment engineering
+ Review daily and seasonal tracking of prototype samples. Provides cross-functional teams with accurate tracking data. Problem-solve complex issues as necessary and make recommendations to manager
+ Ability to dynamically deliver product presentations related to fit and construction
+ Domestic and overseas travel as necessary
+ Other duties may be assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 4 years of technical design or product development experience
+ 2D PDS required. Must have job experience using software (classes and/or theory does not qualify), such as 'Optitex, Lectra, Gerber Accumark.etc.
+ Experience fitting on live models and virtual models, including size sets
+ Advanced knowledge of garment construction
+ Expertise building Development Tech Packs
+ Must have superior written and verbal communication skills
+ Must be able to conduct product presentations in a clear, concise, engaging manner
+ Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, a PLM system, Excel and Gerber or Optitex PDS
+ Factory experience and 3D pattern experience preferred

Purpose of Role
Develop and manage the technical specification packages for apparel prototypes.

Position Mission

• We are looking for a proactive and detail- oriented Technical Designer with 3D experience, who plays a key role in the product development process, working closely with our design and 3D teams.
• You will be responsible for utilizing 3D V-stitcher software to visualize product fit and aesthetic in 3D prototyping processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D prototype in V-Stitcher, from pattern making to final rendering.
• Create and issue development specifications in preparation of sampling.

• Analyze design details and provide feedback to ensure proto meet quality standards and construction requirements.

• 5+ years of experience in the Garment Technician with live model fit experience in buyer office or trading company.
• Experience in Sports/Outdoor/Causal brands, good knowledge on the PLM & 2D pattern software, 3D know how will be advantageous.
• Higher Diploma or degree holders in Textile & Fashion related filed.
• Strong knowledge to provide comments adjust the fitting and improve the workmanship, prevent safety issue due to construction issue, then update comment in PLM.
• Good communication skill in English and Mandarin
• Willing to travel to factories aboard when required

• We are looking for 3D TECHNICAL FASHION DESIGNER & DEVELOPER - with details as follows :
  
  

Position Mission

• We are looking for a proactive and detail- oriented Technical Designer with 3D experience, who plays a key role in the product development process, working closely with our design and 3D teams.
• You will be responsible for utilizing 3D V-stitcher software to visualize product fit and aesthetic in 3D prototyping processes.
• Additionally, we value an agile mindset, embracing flexibility and adaptability in new approach to problem solve.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D prototype in V-Stitcher, from pattern making to final rendering.
• Create and issue development specifications in preparation of sampling.
• Conduct 3D proto fittings and collaborate with technical designers and designers in headquarters to ensure accurate interpretation of design intent and proper garment fit.
• Analyze design details and provide feedback to ensure proto meet quality standards and construction requirements.
• Support 3D visualization projects as needed for presentations, product analysis, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical libraries, including pattern blocks and digital assets.
• Work in Fashion Design & Product Development team of 8 members
• Report to Fashion Design & Product Development Manager
• 5 days work
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Tertiary education in Textiles / Fashion / Design or a related field.
• Over 4 years’ experience in the garment industry.
• Proficiency in 3D softwares (V-stitcher is a plus) and Adobe Illustrator
• Passion for fashion and 3D technology in staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
