We are looking for an energetic professional with firm commitment to excellence to fill the post of Senior Technical Officer / Technical Officer.
Responsibilities
Job Description:

• Purchase maintenance materials and keep inventory records;
• Attend IO meeting to explain maintenance items when necessary and answer emergency call;
• Supervise and monitor the performance of other technical staff and technicians;
• Prepare tender documents and familiar with tendering procedures on engineering works;
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
  

• Holder of Higher Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Building Surveying / Building Studies or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in property maintenance;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade A / B) preferable and Safety Card;
• Knowledge in renovation works preferred.

What You Will Do:

• In coordination with the Vessel Manager purchasing spare parts and consumables for ships assigned to his team.
• Arrange delivery of spares/stores to ships.
• Scrutinize all invoices from suppliers and maintain an accurate computer record accordingly.
• Maintain files for all spare parts inventories received from ship.
• Responsible for the document control (e.g. maintain check list of periodic reporting due from vessel).
• Reports to the Technical Superintendent (Expatriate).

What We Are Looking For:

• Diploma or Degree in related discipline, with at least 2 years working experience in similar capacity.
• Experience working in ship management companies.
• Good command of written & spoken English.
• Sound PC knowledge, experience in purchasing or related software is preferred.
• Immediate available is preferred

• System maintenance: Assist in the upkeep and repair of air traffic control systems, airport-related systems, and various electronic, communication, and IT equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
• Problem analysis: Help prepare comprehensive fault investigation reports and develop procurement plans for spare parts and maintenance services, honing your analytical skills.
• Collaborative work: Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government departments, airport authorities, vendors, and sub-contractors, building valuable professional relationships.
• Critical response: Participate in resolving critical issues outside regular office hours, ensuring the continuous operation of vital systems and developing your crisis management abilities.

• Educational background: Diploma or Certificate holders in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. We welcome diverse educational backgrounds
