Roles and Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in IT or related disciplines
  • 12+ years of related technical experience with 5 years in managing teams
  • Fluent in English and Putonghua, other language skills will have additional advantages
  • PMP, ITIL, or relevant certifications are highly desirable
  • Self-motivated, action and result oriented
  • Well organized, good communication and reporting skills
  • Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills with multi-disciplined staff at all levels
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level technology infrastructure, digital workplace architectures and integration methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience in managing Windows PC and Mobile in an enterprise environment, including support/ break-fix/ image-&-re-image / patch and any automated tools, e.g MECM, Intune and Autopilot
  • Knowledge and experience in managing Windows OS deployment and application packaging
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting virtual desktop
  • Familiar with cloud-hosted products such as Microsoft 365 (M365)
  • Experience in interacting with software and hardware external vendors
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Able to follow through tasks until completion as a team

Job Summary:

The IT Group Risk Management Systems (GRMS) department is responsible for implementing and supporting systems for the Group Risk Management division. We are seeking an experienced IT professional with expertise in technical project management.

Job Duties:

Being part of Group Risk Management Systems team, you will lead the onboarding of a SaaS system solution to HKEX, ensuring that it aligns to the firm’s IT standards and best practices, as well as compliance to security and operational guidelines so as to provide maintenance of the system going forward.

Also you will manage and drive the migration of a containerized application from public cloud to on-premise private cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Participate in project planning, timeline management, change management, issue management and release planning. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to project milestones, and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the contact point for external vendors. Monitor vendor performance and the timeliness and quality of their deliverables. Ensure vendors receive essential and relevant information and requirements, and escalate issues to stakeholders promptly.
  • Business Requirements: Collaborate with internal user groups to deliver requirements to the vendor and development team. Understand business needs and technical solutions to ensure alignment. Communicate risks and gaps in functional specifications as necessary.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Review test plans and strategies with the vendor and development team to ensure functional requirements are met. Develop test plans and strategies to confirm system compliance with technical requirements on reliability, performance, contingency, security, etc.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and other IT teams. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status and deliverables.
  • Technical Acceptance: Evaluate documents and evidence provided by vendors and development teams on system design, testing, security, deployment topology, and conformance to technical standards. Ensure the system is fit for use before deployment in production.
  • Project Financials: Track project costs and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Documentation and Training: Create detailed internal documents as well as review vendor and development team documents for quality and completeness. Collaborate with vendors on detailed training plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization. Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and frameworks to enhance future implementations' efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in IT project management, including at least 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
  • Technical Skills: Concepts of infrastructure technologies and IT security concept are needed. Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex technical requirements, identify potential challenges, and devise solutions flexibly.
  • Communication: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

A global high-end retail company, recognized as an employee's choice, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Transition and Communications Manager to oversee a large-scale IT transition program within a matrix environment. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational efficiency, lead cross-functional teams, and engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure program success.

The Role:

  • Lead the execution of a major IT transition program, managing two project managers and collaborating with technical teams.
  • Develop and execute a stakeholder communication and engagement strategy for clear and effective information sharing.
  • Plan and coordinate communication touchpoints such as weekly updates, newsletters, meetings, and presentations.
  • Create and maintain a project SharePoint site aligned with global standards, ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible.
  • Chair steering committee meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and provide stakeholder updates.
  • Track and report project risks, issues, and actions for timely resolution.
  • Utilize PowerBI to develop dashboards and visual project updates for executives.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Apply strong project management methodologies and tools to meet timelines and objectives.
  • Identify, review, and optimize IT operational processes to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is required.
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Successful leadership of cross-functional teams in complex programs.
  • Strong skills in project and program management, change management, and transition planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, SharePoint, and other project management tools.
  • Background in telecommunications or carrier services is highly desirable.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Adaptable, quick learner, and knowledgeable of current technology trends.
  • Flexible working hours to meet program demands.

  • Hands-on Oracle functional experience (e.g., EBS, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, OFSAA)
  • Accounting background is preferable
  • Experience in system upgrades, implementation, patching, cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
  • PMP and basic ITIL certification are desirable, along with demonstrated interpersonal skills, business acumen, relationship building, conflict management, and team leadership
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking, energetic
  • Good communication skills; fluent English and Cantonese speaking preferred
