Develop and manage the technical specification packages for apparel prototypes.
**Your Impact**
+ Contribute ideas for construction, materials and components to enhance functionality, and aesthetic and fit.
+ Build and review technical packages for one or more categories
+ Support maintenance of Fit Block Libraries
+ Conduct fit sessions on body form and/or live models, including size sets
+ Able to identify fit issues, perform fit adjustments and communicate changes to improve fit and function
+ Assist with establishing 2D/3D pattern blocks and provides oversight to pattern block library management. Recommend changes to grading to achieve the best fit across size range
+ Analyze samples to identify discrepancies prior to fitting. Ensure samples reflect established category standards for fit, construction and quality
+ Analyzes artwork to identify risk, assist with establishing standards, identify quality issues and approve strike offs
+ Owns cross functional meeting communication for the development team. Must be able to effectively solve problems with design, costing, quality and delivery issues
+ Independently communicate with vendors to solve problems and all issues related to garment engineering
+ Review daily and seasonal tracking of prototype samples. Provides cross-functional teams with accurate tracking data. Problem-solve complex issues as necessary and make recommendations to manager
+ Ability to dynamically deliver product presentations related to fit and construction
+ Domestic and overseas travel as necessary
+ Other duties may be assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 4 years of technical design or product development experience
+ 2D PDS required. Must have job experience using software (classes and/or theory does not qualify), such as 'Optitex, Lectra, Gerber Accumark.etc.
+ Experience fitting on live models and virtual models, including size sets
+ Advanced knowledge of garment construction
+ Expertise building Development Tech Packs
+ Must have superior written and verbal communication skills
+ Must be able to conduct product presentations in a clear, concise, engaging manner
+ Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, a PLM system, Excel and Gerber or Optitex PDS
+ Factory experience and 3D pattern experience preferred

POSITION SUMMARY
All brands strategy, product development and innovation are led and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger sold in NA, Asia and SA; and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Calvin Klein Europe with respect and sold in the Asia region. Strategically oversee the end-to-end technical development process across multiple product categories, ensuring consistency in fit, quality, and brand integrity. Build strong partnerships with Global Technical teams, Design, Merchandising, and Sourcing to align on seasonal direction, innovation, and executional excellence.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Strategically lead the technical development function, guiding a team of Garment Technicians and Assistant Managers to uphold fit excellence, SOP compliance, and operational efficiency.
· Ensure consistency and clarity in fit comments and documentation across all systems (e.g., Centric), driving alignment with global standards and business objectives.
· Champion a proactive risk management culture by overseeing garment construction evaluations, quality assurance, and testing protocols, while driving innovative solutions to mitigate risk.
· Maintain accountability for design intent across all size bases and development stages, ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges in collaboration with Design and Sourcing and Raw Material teams.
· Oversee sample T&A management in partnership with Hub Sourcing and vendors, ensuring timely execution and issue resolution through strategic vendor engagement.
· Lead the annual review and evolution of SOPs, ensuring they reflect current business needs and industry best practices; drive implementation across internal and external teams.
· Direct vendor training and accreditation programs, ensuring technical readiness and consistent execution of PP and Fit Approvals across the supply base.
· Build and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors and cross-functional leaders to support business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
· Drive cross-functional alignment through effective communication, technical leadership, and knowledge sharing across global teams.
· Lead and sponsor key initiatives and projects focused on process innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement in technical development.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Apparel Technology, Fashion Engineering, or a related discipline.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term technical relationships with enterprise customers, focusing on GPU performance optimization and resource allocation efficiency on AWS cloud or similar cloud services.
- Analyze customers' current architecture, models, data pipelines, and deployment patterns; create a GPU bottleneck map and measurable KPIs (e.g., GPU utilization, throughput, P95/P99 latency, cost per unit).

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud technical support, solutions architecture, or customer success management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in GPU/accelerated computing platforms.
- In-depth understanding of GPU instance families (e.g., AWS G/P/H series) or similar offerings from other cloud providers, AMI/driver/CUDA/container compatibility management, and cloud storage/network performance tuning (e.g., S3 I/O, EBS/Instance Store equivalents, preprocessing pipelines). Proficient in scheduling GPU workloads with EKS or equivalent Kubernetes-based orchestration services, including node pool tiering, resource quotas, elastic scaling, and auto-recovery strategies. Experienced in multi-GPU/multi-node distributed computing (NCCL, topology awareness, tensor parallelism, pipeline parallelism) with expertise in communication optimization for large-scale AI training and inference.
- Skilled in PyTorch/TensorFlow performance analysis and optimization, including DataLoader tuning, mixed precision, operator fusion, and inference acceleration toolchains (ONNX, TensorRT, CUDA Graphs).
- Experienced in cost and capacity governance, familiar with Savings Plans, RI, ODCR, Spot, Capacity Blocks, and right-sizing strategies or their equivalents in other cloud platforms.
- Demonstrated cross-functional communication and influence skills, capable of driving technical solutions with data and business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Machine Learning Specialty, or DevOps Professional certification or equivalent credentials from other cloud providers.

Overview

Assistance Technical Services Manager (Happy Valley Racecourse - Catering) at The Hong Kong Jockey Club. The primary purpose of this job is to plan, implement and supervise the operation and maintenance of buildings, fixture & fittings, mechanical & electrical plant and equipment in HKJC premises, ensuring all installations are engineered to optimum technical and safety standards, and in case of minor addition, replacement and improvement works, contribute and implement his design so that users have functionally suitable, safe, efficient and cost effective premises in which to operate.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for 24/7 operations at HKJC premises, ensuring assigned building fabric, electrical, and mechanical systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently in compliance with statutory requirements. Systems include buildings, fixtures, HVAC, power, lighting, generators, UPS, fire protection, lifts, plumbing, catering equipment, etc., to meet operational needs of HKJC and its users during race and non-race days.
  • Ensure effective delivery of facilities operations by managing resource planning, maintenance services, staff coaching, training, space utilization, and continuous review of service standards, manpower deployment, and performance benchmarking.
  • Minimize business disruption during emergencies by implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, coordinating with Facilities and Project teams, and executing emergency response plans. Promote knowledge transfer and adoption of best practices.
  • Direct and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs so that remedial actions can be taken immediately and effectively to ensure that the business operations are not critically affected.
  • Assist the formulation of Service Level Agreements with user departments to achieve Key Performance Indicators at optimum cost, oversee the quality and execution of SOPs, and design follow up programs to ensure that services delivered are in a timely and efficient manner according to users’ requirements.
  • Assist the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, capital work programs and operating budgets for the facilities, and ensure that expenses are maintained within budgets. This includes ensuring proper handling of tender exercises, contract awarding, procurement and payment in compliance with Club’s requirements.
  • Assist the engagement and coordination of consultants and contractors and supervise their work to ensure their services are rendered competently, within budget and program according to service level determined.
  • Assist Senior Manager, Property Facilities Technical Services (SMPFTS)/ Manager, Property Facilities Technical Services (MPFTS) to act as in-house consultant to establish design criteria, directs the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, tender documents and monitors work progress for minor alterations, additions and improvement works.
  • Assist the change management on both operation and management level. Handle staff conflict and complaint. Motivate staff to perform. Conduct regular review of system performance and work processes with objective to improve overall productivity and effectiveness of all levels of staff and operational efficiency; Implement data collection, using data and data analysis to assess and identify various innovative solutions and use of technology to resolve shortfall and seek continuous improvements.
  • Plan and maintain manpower resources for shift duty teams. Supervise special tasks and drills during non-office hours. Organize training, maintain records, and identify development needs. Enforce Property Manual, Operational Procedures, and Incident Management Plans to ensure smooth operations. Follow contingency plans for emergency response to minimize business impact. Support annual planning activities including asset reviews, budgeting, and capital project proposals. Perform shift duties when required.
About You
  • A degree in Building Services or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or building related disciplines. Professional qualification of relevant disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is preferred (e.g. HKIE, CIBSE, RICS, HKIS, IFMA, PMSA, IMechE & IEE).
  • A minimum of eight years of facilities or property experience of which at least four years in managerial level and be conversant with building, building services, mechanical and electrical engineering technology.
  • Outstanding technical skills and experience in leading/managing complex building operations, maintenance and assets upkeep. Excellent leadership, organizational, managerial, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and communications with key stakeholders including colleagues within Property, other departments and divisions in the Club, external government departments, consultants, contractors, FM providers and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of HKSAR’s FM industry from Government regulations on planning, land and construction to a thorough appreciation of consultants, contractors and suppliers.
