About The Role

We're hiring a Technical Product Manager to lead platform delivery and internal systems development across both InfluenConnect and Comms8.

You'll report to the Managing Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams to:

  • Drive core feature development on our SaaS platform (InfluenConnect)
  • Oversee automation and tool-building to improve operational efficiency

This is a dual-role opportunity with clear ownership of technical execution. You'll be fluent in product thinking, capable of translating business goals into dev-ready plans, and ideally comfortable implementing features independently as we reduce reliance on external developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform & Product Management

  • Drive delivery of new features: discovery tools, UX improvements, creator onboarding, affiliate tracking, etc
  • Translate business objectives into roadmaps, sprint plans, and technical briefs
  • Collaborate with external developers, internal analysts, and user teams
  • Prioritise and launch scalable, user-centric features aligned with platform growth goals

Internal Systems & Automation

  • Lead system automation projects (CRM workflows, dashboards, content scheduling, supplier databases)
  • Work with internal stakeholders and junior automation team (e.g. Airtable, Zapier, Looker Studio)
  • Develop internal documentation and training materials for newly implemented tools

Cross-Functional Management

  • Use Trello, Jira, or Notion to manage project pipelines and team accountability
  • Report regularly to the founder and unblock team progress as needed
  • Balance fast delivery with long-term product quality and technical scale

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing SaaS products or internal systems
  • Strong communicator with fluent English (Chinese a plus)
  • Solid grasp of product lifecycles, UX, APIs, and system basics (coding ability is a bonus)
  • Confident in owning roadmaps, writing specs, and working with developers
  • Comfortable using tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, and Looker Studio
  • Bonus: experience with payments, trust & safety, or marketplace platforms
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and ready to get things done

About basic platform team description:

The basic platform department is oriented towards the company, providing one-stop development platforms. Intended to enhance and improve standardized and unified development processes and self-develop the one-stop development platform for raising development efficiency, system observability, and performance capacity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for the product design of the basic platform, ensuring the quality delivery of product functions.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of User Experience on the basic platform, data-driven to improve Customer Satisfaction Score.


What We Look For In You

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer-related majors, with more than 3 years of experience as a ToB Product Manager, has rich experience in user experience optimization.
  • Possess fluent English spoken ability.
  • Familiar with DevOps processes and related tools, with good technical understanding ability.

Job Duties

  • Identify and evaluate new partner integrations (e.g., accounting, POS, inventory management) to expand marketplace offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, sales, operations, marketing, partners) and external vendors to deliver impactful merchant solutions.
  • Set key metrics, analyze market trends, gather user feedback, and iterate to optimize product-market fit.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on merchant operations to ensure the marketplace supports real-world workflows from the counter to the back office.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners to support onboarding and ongoing marketplace success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product strategy, management, or marketplace roles within SaaS, Fintech, retail tech, or F&B tech.
  • Deep understanding of merchant operations, POS systems, or SaaS products.
  • Track record of shipping merchant-facing products with measurable business impact.
  • Ability to manage vendor and partner relationships.
  • Experience managing product P&L, setting KPIs, and driving financial performance.
  • Strategic, data-driven approach to market adoption and growth.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
