Job Description
BEAM Society Limited (BSL) is an independent, non-profit organization established in 2010, recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization and a public body under relevant ordinances. BSL is dedicated to administering and developing the BEAM Plus Assessment Tools, providing impartial sustainability assessments and training for BEAM practitioners.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Committees, Expert Panels, and BEAM Assessors to gather information and prepare comments and reports for project assessments.
- Verify that deliverables from BEAM Assessors comply with the Assessment Manual and other guidelines to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Monitor assessment progress to ensure completion within scheduled timelines.
- Provide technical support to Committees and Task Forces.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings as needed.
- Perform administrative and secretarial duties as required.
- Handle ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Built Environment, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in local green and sustainability design consultancy; fresh graduates are also considered.
- Knowledge of building design software, BIM, or simulation tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino3D, Revit, IES, eQUEST, DIALux, Fluent, etc., is advantageous.
- Recognition as a green building professional (e.g., BEAM Affiliate, LEED Green Associate) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Applications are invited for the vacancy in the Metering Branch of Technical Services Department in Power Systems Business Group. Reporting to the Meter Reading Supervisor, the appointee is required to manage below major duties:-
Major Duties include
- Plan, schedule and enhance the meter reading order management and route plan so as to complete the daily meter reading assignment efficiently, effectively and safely
- Manage on site metering duties including meter data retrieval/upload and answering customer enquiries
- Detect & report meter and wiring abnormalities to the reporting operation center for follow up actions
- Provide technical support for supervisor to carry out smart meter inspection program and UAT tests for system upgrade, advanced metering infrastructure deployments, new ERP migration etc
- Be the company ambassador to provide responsive, professional and value-added services to exceed customer expectations in metering aspects
- A minimum of 5 passes in HKCEE including English (Syllabus B) or Level 2 or above in 5 subjects in HKDSE including English Language, or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in performing outdoor works
- Mindful and have good safety awareness
- Ability to communicate in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Customer-oriented, energetic plus pleasant personality
- Possession of a valid driving license (Class 1, 2 or Class 1a/2a) will be an advantage

- Regularly test monitoring and alarm systems to ensure proper functioning, and report any system faults or technical issues promptly.
- Record all security-related incidents, including alarms, system failures, security breaches, and prepare detailed reports.
- Assist supervisors in developing work procedures and training new staff to ensure familiarity with their roles.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors, such as handling daily administrative duties, security audits, risk assessments, supporting project management, and participating in departmental planning activities.
- Shift work may be required, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications:
- Relevant security, business, or management certification/diploma or equivalent; a university degree is preferred.
- At least three years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of one year in team management.
- Valid security personnel license and Hong Kong driving license (Category 1) preferred.
- Proficient in Chinese (including Cantonese) and English communication skills.
- Computer literacy in office applications.
- Responsible, good interpersonal skills, communication, and supervision abilities.
- Strong security awareness.

- Review global chemical regulations
- Provide technical support and consultancy to operations / customer services / frontlines / clients
- Organize and delivering seminar and training (internal and external)
- Develop new services upon client’s specification or updated requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in chemistry or related science disciplines
- Minimum 3 years solid experience in testing laboratory
- Knowledge of international regulation and testing standard
- Knowledge of Hardlines Products (e.g. Toys, Food Contact, Sundries, etc)
