The senior technologist in this role will be responsible for ensuring architectural and design consistency across the platform, adherence to latency targets, maintaining high standards on code quality and continuous improvement of delivery processes like automated testing, dev ops & SRE. This role will provide hands-on coding and design leadership to the engineering team and work with other Electronic Trading leads on setting design direction for our global low-latency trading frameworks.
The role requires specialized skills in low-latency trading, zero garbage techniques and performance tuning of OS & network interactions. Prior experience in building low latency, high throughput systems with microsecond precision is necessary.
This role will require close collaboration with the trading desks on platform design & optimization of trading strategies. Prior experience in Market Making / Quantitative Trading / Algorithmic Trading is necessary along with knowledge of market microstructure and regulatory regimes across APAC markets.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Design, development and support of high-performance electronic trading systems.
+ Partner with business users, quant researchers and clients on product development
+ Manage and support a global team of developers & QA specialists.
+ Continuous improvements of SDLC processes including Agile delivery, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines & support processes.
+ Envision, design and implement test cases for trading functions.
**Qualifications** :
+ Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with strong technical knowledge either Java or C++.
+ Demonstrable expertise in low-latency trading, zero garbage techniques and performance tuning of OS & network interactions.
+ Prior experience in leading global development teams.
+ Previous experience in developing automated trading platforms.
+ Strong understanding of automated testing techniques.
+ Solid understanding of SDLC practices including Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes.
+ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals and meet deadlines.
+ Strong communication skills with a demonstrable ability to present & grasp complex concepts in a multicultural environment.

EY Technology Consulting allows the clients to harness the full potential of information technology in line with their business strategy and vision whilst also supporting or driving compliance with laws and regulations. Your Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to translate business visions into appropriate solution design
- Responsible for solution blueprint and roadmap
- Responsible for customer success and deliver good business values for clients
- Recommend architectural standards for enterprise solution landscape
To Qualify for the role, you must have
- More than 5 years of experience and at least 2 years in Architect capacity
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large scale enterprise solution
- Proficiency in architecture design in enterprise applications, data technologies, or integration
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Excellent knowledge of cloud architecture and enterprise integration solutions
- Strong passion in solving business problems with emerging technologies
- Strong stakeholder management skill and result oriented
- Good knowledge in API design standards and Microservices
- Good knowledge in ERP
- Certification in TOGAF, PMP, or SAFe would be an advantage
- Certified Architect in cloud platforms would be an advantage
- Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and verbal)
- Working proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in end-to-end project delivery, SDLC or Agile delivery methodologies
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

The Opportunity
As a Director of Event Technology at Encore, you will have imagination and curiosity to bring events to life. Your primary responsibility will revolve around cultivating a robust and collaborative relationship between our dedicated onsite team and venue management. The service provided will be highly professional with a view to timeliness, appropriate conduct and effective cost management of human resources and services as well as the P&L, to ensure the profitability of the Encore activities in the venue.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient and safe running of event staging services within the venues
- Build and maintain relationship with venues and clients to ensure successful client relations and smooth running of all events
- Educate and advise clients and venue staff alike on the most appropriate audio-visual equipment, digital options and the necessary crew to best meet their presentation needs and budget
- Maintain and disseminate crew rosters and schedules
- Inform the appropriate people of any areas of concern so that problems with equipment, crew, venue staff or clients can be rectified in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to increase the profitable revenue in applicable venue
- Seek out opportunities for operational improvements
- Provide coaching and mentoring to develop and optimise individual and team capability
- Prior experience in the events/sales environment
- Relevant experience in AV
- Excellent planning, organisational, time management & account management skills
- Strong sales and business acumen, track record in managing a high performing sales team within a third party venue
- Ability to foster meaningful business relationships
- Prior experience in rostering and cost management
- Qualification in Hospitality or Events is highly regarded
