The Department

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council ("HKTDC"), the statutory organization promoting Hong Kong's external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Merchandise Trade and Innovation Department.

Duration: 13 October December 2025
Responsibilities:

  • To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional event
  • To provide onsite and logistics support for Business of IP Asia Forum, including but not limited to arranging speakers and participants' travel logistics, providing supports for speakers' presentation, preparing promotional materials and other publicity-related work, badge printing, etc.
  • To assist with the liaison with publicity agency, external vendors, internal departments, branch office, participants, sponsors, etc.
  • To follow-up enquiries from forum and undertake on-site duties
  • To assist in consolidating and updating project data and delegate information
  • To perform administrative duties such as handling reports, filing system and meeting schedules

Requirements:

  • 1 year of working experience in marketing, event organizing, project management, or a related field is preferred (Fresh graduates with internship experience are also welcome)
  • Immediate available is preferred
  • Prior working experience in organizing fairs and Project or management of large-scale conferences is an advantage
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-initiated and very attentive to details
  • Meticulous, creative, with team work spirits and can meet tight deadlines

Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
