About The Role

The Technology Consultant will help drive the growth of Accenture Technology’s business and grow the client pool. She/he will work close with senior management, project team, technology experts to develop a customized solution for the clients.

Key Responsibility:


  • Capture client's business process and context precisely and concisely in short period of time

  • Analyze clients’ business and problems, conduct relevant research proactively to deepen understanding

  • Provide inputs on client needs and recommend solution options

  • Prepare viable solution for the client with strong sense of business case

  • Propose delivery approach for the technology solution considering priorities and dependencies

  • Work towards growing Accenture and client relationships; Help shape the deal with the clients and develop compelling proposals

  • Assess emerging technologies; Continuously monitor relevant industry and technology trends to ensure further development of Accenture’s capabilities

    About You


  • Bachelor’s degree, or above; Excellent presentation skills and fluency in English

  • 10+ years of working experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, technology delivery and client servicing

  • Strong capabilities on analytical and quantitative problem solving, and complex ideas communication

  • Practical experience in capturing client requirements, mapping processes, and presenting solutions

  • Good stakeholder management skills; Proven self-starter and a team player

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the latest market trend and curiosity in technology

  • Good communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and on a tight timeline

  • Sound knowledge in IT operating models, enterprise architecture, cloud, AI, blockchain, automation, and/or data is preferred

  • Candidate with less experience will be offered a more junior position

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 8+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience

    Requirements

    • Technical background in IoT or environmental technologies is a bonus
    • Bachelor’s degree or above
    • Minimum 8 years of full-time work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
    • Completion of a written test and ability test as part of the application process
    • Passionate about project management and technologies in the environmental field
    • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

    • Documenting standard operating procedures, tips, tricks, troubleshooting and best practices, on hardware and software

    • To report directly to the IT Manager all matters affecting Information Technology

    Requirements:

    • Higher diploma graduate or above in relevant discipline
    • Solid knowledge of Hotel Systems and Property Management Systems
    • Minimum 1-year solid hands-on experience in IT maintenance and support
    • Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
    • Good knowledge and hands-on experience in networking / server projects
    • Positive, "can-do" attitude, self-starter with strong organizational skills
    • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
    • Possess a strong sense of responsibility
    • Excellent organizational and time-management in project coordination
    • Good command of English and Chinese

    • Maintain corporate-wide technology risk management and cyber resilience policy and process in compliance with the regulator’s requirements;
    • As a second line of defense, assist risk owners in identifying and measuring risks to build a corporate-wide cyber and technology risks profile;
    • Assist senior management in overseeing cyber and technology risks by ensuring controls are properly designed, implemented and operated as intended, and ascertain the consistency of risk assignment;
    • Perform thematic review over bank technology-related operation and provide advisory towards new products or services
    • Review residual risk level and control effectiveness to make recommendation for risk treatment;
    • Assist team head to interpret key risk statistics for reporting to senior management on regular basis;
    • Assist the coordination for evaluation on emerging cyber threat scenario for continuous improvement on cyber security response preparation for Business Continuity Management (BCM);
    • Promote security awareness and ensure compliance with applicable security standards;
    • Keep abreast of cyber threat trend to gauge the prevailing cyber threat landscape, and make recommendation on improving the bank risk posture;
    • Keep abreast of technological knowledge in managed area of responsibility, and provide recommendations for adaptation of new technologies and standard with reference to prevailing industry best practices;
    • Assist senior management overseeing the technology related incident management.

    Requirement:

    • University degree preferably in information technology, information security or related discipline;
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, technology risk management or IT Audit field;
    • Holder of cybersecurity certificates - CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP or other equivalent certificates is preferred;
    • Practical experience and knowledge in risk management framework and methodology;
    • Knowledge in control frameworks such as C-RAF, TM-E-1, TM-G-1, SA-2 and relevant circulars published by the HKMA, SWIFT Customer Security Programme, PCI DSS, etc. are preferred;
    • Experience in working for major financial institutions; and
    • A good team player with sound interpersonal and communication skills, good command of English language and proficiency in Mandarin.

    • To serve as a critical coordinator with IT Department in the organization, risk functional teams in the Risk Management Department, and stakeholders in other departments

    • To manage projects of data platform and risk reporting application development, including feasibility study, solution analysis, requirement definition, functional design, application and database architecture design, development plan, and documentation

    • To establish and improve policies and procedures on software development, change request, daily business and static mapping data maintenance, data quality control, system error handling, data / system risk management, and business continuity plan

    • To keep abreast of the latest technology development that can be implemented for daily risk management use

    • To implement MSCI Risk Manager system by working with different system vendors, consultants, internal IT department, and front and middle office teams, and various risk teams (model, market, credit etc.)

    • To design, develop and maintain a proprietary risk data warehouse on top of MSCI RiskManager that can meet regulatory requirements and internal risk control standards

    • To build a comprehensive risk reporting engine on top of the core risk engine

    • To participate in other enterprise technology projects where Risk Department is a stakeholder

    Requirements

    Job requirements

    • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines from a reputable university

    • 8 years (3 out of which is in team lead role) of project management and system analysis experience in data related domains, preferably in financial data analytics, database design, implementation, maintenance, big data platforms and AI

    • Proficiency in database design (e.g. architecture of normalized relational tables), data technologies (e.g. data streaming, data lake, ETL), concepts (e.g. data model, metadata) and tools (e.g. SQL, analytic and visualization tools)

    • Hands-on experience in risk technology on counterparty credit risk / market risk in financial industry, and knowledge on fixed income / equities products, particularly derivatives and structured products are preferred

    • Proficient in English and Chinese

    • Communication skill with non IT / technical audience
