• To serve as a critical coordinator with IT Department in the organization, risk functional teams in the Risk Management Department, and stakeholders in other departments

• To manage projects of data platform and risk reporting application development, including feasibility study, solution analysis, requirement definition, functional design, application and database architecture design, development plan, and documentation

• To establish and improve policies and procedures on software development, change request, daily business and static mapping data maintenance, data quality control, system error handling, data / system risk management, and business continuity plan

• To keep abreast of the latest technology development that can be implemented for daily risk management use

• To implement MSCI Risk Manager system by working with different system vendors, consultants, internal IT department, and front and middle office teams, and various risk teams (model, market, credit etc.)

• To design, develop and maintain a proprietary risk data warehouse on top of MSCI RiskManager that can meet regulatory requirements and internal risk control standards

• To build a comprehensive risk reporting engine on top of the core risk engine

• To participate in other enterprise technology projects where Risk Department is a stakeholder

Requirements

Job requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines from a reputable university

• 8 years (3 out of which is in team lead role) of project management and system analysis experience in data related domains, preferably in financial data analytics, database design, implementation, maintenance, big data platforms and AI

• Proficiency in database design (e.g. architecture of normalized relational tables), data technologies (e.g. data streaming, data lake, ETL), concepts (e.g. data model, metadata) and tools (e.g. SQL, analytic and visualization tools)

• Hands-on experience in risk technology on counterparty credit risk / market risk in financial industry, and knowledge on fixed income / equities products, particularly derivatives and structured products are preferred

• Proficient in English and Chinese

• Communication skill with non IT / technical audience

Citi Equities Technology organization is looking for a senior, hands-on technologist to drive the global architecture & technology delivery of its market making platforms. This is a strategic position to drive technology strategy in this space & deliver best in class platforms across various product categories.
The senior technologist in this role will be responsible for ensuring architectural and design consistency across the platform, adherence to latency targets, maintaining high standards on code quality and continuous improvement of delivery processes like automated testing, dev ops & SRE. This role will provide hands-on coding and design leadership to the engineering team and work with other Electronic Trading leads on setting design direction for our global low-latency trading frameworks.
The role requires specialized skills in low-latency trading, zero garbage techniques and performance tuning of OS & network interactions. Prior experience in building low latency, high throughput systems with microsecond precision is necessary.
This role will require close collaboration with the trading desks on platform design & optimization of trading strategies. Prior experience in Market Making / Quantitative Trading / Algorithmic Trading is necessary along with knowledge of market microstructure and regulatory regimes across APAC markets.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Design, development and support of high-performance electronic trading systems.
+ Partner with business users, quant researchers and clients on product development
+ Manage and support a global team of developers & QA specialists.
+ Continuous improvements of SDLC processes including Agile delivery, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines & support processes.
+ Envision, design and implement test cases for trading functions.
**Qualifications** :
