Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Support Technician/System Support Engineer to maintain and support our company's IT systems. This includes the continued maintenance and technical support of new or existing solutions for our customers. This requires to having a focus on resolving support incidents quickly and efficiently to restore service within SLAs.

Main missions:

  • Support the Company's IT systems for customer solutions, including all Company's contracted software and hardware components.
  • Incident Management: Resolving, eliminating, reducing client and/or user reported issues, for all components supported by the Company, including request fulfilment, updating tickets, problem management and asset management.
  • Interacts with, customers and suppliers as necessary to correct issues.
  • Works with other support resources, development team or deployment teams to determine root cause for system failures and monitors trends.
  • Conducts trend analysis to identify and prevent potential issues.
  • Lead technical Level 1 and 2 support for both the Company and 3rd party systems.
  • Support the initial technical investigation for the Level 1 issues Supporting end users by ensuring the current systems are available.
  • Support and liaise with the Company local partners, field engineers and other internal teams to restore and resolve impacted systems.
  • Liaise with stakeholders as required, supporting investigations into incidents/problems/requests escalated to them.
  • Provide professional support in line with the Service Level Agreements (SLA) ensuring contractual targets are achieved and customer satisfaction maintained within the ITIL framework.
  • Pre-empt/predict and diagnose customer impacting issues.
  • Investigate software and infrastructure issues for assigned projects.
  • Proactively investigate the production servers and the databases.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision by taking ownership of the assigned responsibilities.
  • Prepare documentation for recording the root causes and resolution of incident tickets.
  • Knowledge Management : Leading with the generation and maintenance of all technical system and troubleshooting documentation, such as the creation of user guides, manuals, training video, slide deck etc.
  • Provide customer site visit reports, periodic reports, status updates or feedback as required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English and Chinese language (Optional)

ABOUT YOU

  • Requires at least of 3 years' experience as at level 1 & 2 support.
  • Information Technology or related Degree.
  • ITIL foundation certification, or equivalent, or knowledge about the same.
  • Must be legally eligible to work within Hong Kong.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to location and working hours.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed for system support and rollout.

About the Role

This is a trade floor application support role that requires the candidate to investigate and resolve user, system & infrastructure generated issues across the Prime Services Production systems in a timely manner. You will be working closely with the regional and global teams across business, product, project management and technology teams. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to projects based on the core production management work streams such as stability programs e.g. Automation, Application Resilience etc.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence:
  • Maintain operational stability for front office business applications by managing daily tasks and ensuring a stable environment.
  • Enhance platform performance by spearheading initiatives to improve monitoring, stability, resiliency, and capacity for Prime Services systems in the APAC region.
  • Continuously enhance the main monitoring tool and support the automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Perform morning and weekend checks with global teams to ensure system readiness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the head of the trading desk and technology managers.
  • Service Implementation and Management:
  • Participate in the rollout and management of new services.
  • Plan, review, and execute change releases into the production environment, working with various teams to minimize incidents.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for incident management queries and escalations.
  • Lead major incidents, facilitate bridge calls, coordinate investigations, and manage internal communications.
  • Produce and manage post-incident reviews, chair review meetings, and assign action/task tickets to remediate problems.
  • Update the wiki post-incident to document known errors and workarounds for the support team.
  • Work with global counterparts to address issues collectively and operate in a 'follow the sun' model to resolve issues globally.
  • Coordinate and participate in annual disaster recovery drills.
  • Collaborate with team members on shifts and provide on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • University qualification with IT Major
  • Minimum 5+ years working experience in Investment Banking application Support or Securities Trading industry with relevant exposure to development and support.

• Assist users with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems and applications.

• Respond to and resolve user inquiries and technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure the smooth operation of desktop environments.

• Document and track support requests and resolutions using our ticketing system.

Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or above in IT-related disciplines.

• At least 3+ years of work experience in user desktop support service.

• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common desktop applications.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

To provide essential administrative and operational support to the Bupa Global partnership teams, enabling seamless delivery of the international private medical insurance and health service sales processes.

The Sales Support Administrator will play a key role in supporting Health Insurance Specialists throughout the end-to-end customer journey - ensuring timely processing of documentation, accurate system updates and effective communication between internal teams and stakeholders.

The role is critical in maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a high-quality experience for high-net-worth clients.

How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen

  • Support Health Insurance Specialists by managing the administrative workflow of IPMI applications, including document preparation, data entry, system updates, and submission tracking.
  • Liaise with Bupa’s internal underwriting, compliance, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate application progression.
  • Perform quality checks on incoming documents to ensure completeness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and documentation in CRM systems.
  • Monitor application pipelines and proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders to resolve delays or outstanding items.
  • Prepare sales reports, dashboards, and MI for review by the Head of Partnership & Development and senior stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating training and onboarding logistics for new Health Insurance Specialists or sales team members.
  • Support audit, governance, and licensing documentation requests where necessary.
  • Act as a first point of contact for internal queries relating to the administration of the partnership.
  • Office-based with potential for hybrid working depending on business need.
  • Role is located within a secure, regulated working environment with access to confidential client and financial information.
  • Requires use of internal Bupa systems, partner’s integration tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • May require occasional extended hours during busy onboarding periods or new market launches.
  • Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:
  • Proven experience in an administrative, operations or support role within insurance, banking, or other regulated financial services.
  • Experience working in a high-paced, customer-focused environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, client onboarding systems, and document management workflows.
  • Understanding of regulatory obligations in health insurance or financial services is preferred.
  • Experience working in a multinational or cross-border team environment is an advantage.
  • Higher education diploma or equivalent (required); degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Formal training or experience in financial services, insurance, or healthcare administration (desirable).

With the successful establishment of our business in Asia Pacific, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our Ownership Intelligence division as an Operations Support Analyst to conduct comprehensive market research and analysis .

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct research as needed under supervision, including sourcing information in both English and Chinese. This role requires basic analytical skills, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an open mindset to interpret and apply findings effectively.
  • Project Participation: Actively contribute to ad-hoc special projects, demonstrating flexibility and a problem-solving mindset
  • Operations & Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive logistics and administrative support to ensure the efficiency of daily operations in the Hong Kong office. This role involves working closely with global team members, coordinating with brokers/custodians as needed, maintaining strong communication, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

You will have 1-year or more of professional experience in research and operation support. You will be attentive to details with effective communication, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. This role will be responsible for day-to-day operation in the team to contribute to team effectiveness.
