Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Handle and perform documents checking and processing various types of Bills transactions.
  • Contact with customers, business units and other departments to provide operational and professional bills advice
  • Conduct Anti-money laundering procedures according to the Bank’s standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Handle other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree holder or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
  • At least 3 years bills experience, in which 3 years must be at a checker role
  • CDCS holder preferable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Good command of both English and Chinese with ability to communicate in Putonghua is an advantage

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Trade Finance & Services Manager

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop and commercialize the new trade product especially related to open account trade, including drafting product program, liaising internal stakeholders to obtain new product approval, coordinating FI Dept. to set up credit limit for insurers, discussing insurance policy with insurers and Legal, launching the new trade product, sorting out issues under product implementation, enhancing product capability, insurance claims, etc.;

Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5.
  2. Minimum 3 years of solid experience in corporate banking or trade finance experience, experience in trade product management is preferred.
  3. Solid knowledge in receivable finance, credit insurance, and trade payable finance.
  4. Good analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
  5. Good understanding of banking systems, operations, and credit risk.

  • Good knowledge / appetite for some of the following themes:

Our team in Asia is facing an exciting growth, and we are looking for passionate consultants or industry practitioners who want to accelerate their careers

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Financial Services business unit in Hong Kong to provide strategic and operational advisory for our clients.

Position overview:

As a Senior Consultant, you will help to build our expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery to ensure market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office. Given the global nature of our firm, you will support clients from all around the world, typically focusing on Insurance, Financial Markets, Private Banking and Asset & Wealth Management.

You’ll also work with Sia consultants from other offices to leverage on our global network and help clients deliver successful projects.

This will involve:

  • Participation in projects with leading banks and Financial Institutions.
  • Typically work with a team of 2-5 consultants.
  • Contribute to the implementation and execution of clients projects.
  • Develop impactful solutions by analysing data, formulating hypothesis and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Transforming data into meaningful insights and solutions.
  • Ensuring hands on approach to growing the office with emphasis on high standard client delivery, content development and business development.
  • Working closely in a diverse and international environment with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part to cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge.
  • Sharing consulting best practices with the team.

  • Ability to drive relevant business decisions, accelerate projects delivery and mitigate, deter and escalate risks and issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor or equivalent in Economic, Business, Engineering or Finance.
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience (those with less experience could be considered for a junior position)
  • Prior experience as a management consultant for banks, and/or is part of middle and back offices.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in performance improvement projects such as outsourcing, collateral management, investment accounting, custody, post-trade processing, and related topics.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese & Mandarin is a must
