Our client is one of the largest American investment banks, headquartered in New York City. They are now looking for a Trade Operations Analyst to join the Bank Operations Asia team and support China onshore Securities to handle trade support, trade verification, reconciliation and client onboarding. Product coverage includes Equity and Fixed Income for IBD, GCM, FID and Treasury business. The candidate will report functionally to the Operations Head of onshore China Securities and Bank Operations teams and locally to an ED in Branch Operations Asia.
Job Description
- Responsible for trade lifecycle management, trade operation, trade support, support dual booking for the China onshore Securities and Bank Operation team
- Perform trade verification to support China onshore business, perform reconciliation between onshore and offshore systems and resolve any exceptions identified
- Initiate internal account opening request and provide risk control for China onshore business
- Participate in the system testing for onshore and offshore dual booking
- Perform, monitor and enhance control processes for regulatory reporting
- Coordinate with China onshore Operations team on regional or global initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or relevant discipline
- 1-3 years of working experience in trade support/ trade operations in equity and fixed income products within investment banking operations
- Strong Product knowledge in Equity and Fixed Income for IBD, GCM, FID and Treasury business
- Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in MS applications (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)

Position overview:

- Prior experience as a management consultant for banks, and/or is part of middle and back offices.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in performance improvement projects such as outsourcing, collateral management, investment accounting, custody, post-trade processing, and related topics.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese & Mandarin is a must

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Financial Services business unit in Hong Kong to provide strategic and operational advisory for our clients.
Position overview:
As a Senior Consultant, you will help to build our expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery to ensure market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office. Given the global nature of our firm, you will support clients from all around the world, typically focusing on Insurance, Financial Markets, Private Banking and Asset & Wealth Management.
You’ll also work with Sia consultants from other offices to leverage on our global network and help clients deliver successful projects.
This will involve:
- Participation in projects with leading banks and Financial Institutions.
- Typically work with a team of 2-5 consultants.
- Contribute to the implementation and execution of clients projects.
- Develop impactful solutions by analysing data, formulating hypothesis and communicating with stakeholders.
- Transforming data into meaningful insights and solutions.
- Ensuring hands on approach to growing the office with emphasis on high standard client delivery, content development and business development.
