We are looking for an experienced recruiter to help us find and hire outstanding interns to join our Software Engineering teams at Jane Street. We’re focused on growing and diversifying our recruiting efforts, and the candidate landscape is more competitive than ever — your input will be critical as we work to stay ahead of the curve.

This includes a thoughtful onboarding process that offers a deep dive into our big-picture strategy and how it applies to our daily work. Over time, we will continue to support your professional growth with hands-on training and mentorship.

About You

  • 5+ years of professional recruiting experience, preferably within university tech recruiting
  • Eager to learn new skills and make an immediate impact
  • Creative thinker with a deep understanding of the candidate landscape; able to help us anticipate where we need to go next to find great hires
  • Self-starter who can prioritise tasks, stay organised, and turn ideas into action
  • Flexible team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves, no-job-too-small attitude
  • Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, candidates, and external partners
  • Approachable and humble about what you know and don’t know; not afraid to ask for help when needed
  • Curious about the operations of the firm and how recruiting fits into the bigger picture
  • Willing and excited to travel to recruiting conferences and events as needed
  • No financial industry experience required
