• Provide support to Maintenance Team to handle routine maintenance and breakdown;

• To execute maintenance duties (breakdown calls) for our client and make sure the progresses are on the track;

• Report the progress of maintenance works and schedule regularly to Maintenance Supervisor/ Engineer;

• Coordinate the duty jobs with Maintenance Supervisor, Service Engineer and Manager

• Provide telephone enquiries for technical support to our external client

Job Requirement

• Certificate or higher in Electronic Engineering will be an advantage but not mandatory

• At least 1-2 years or above relevant working experience in Security or ELV System

• Be self-motivated and good communication skills with different levels of trades at site

• With good PC skills, good command of written and spoken in English and Chinese

• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Technician

• Holder of Security Personnel Permit (Category D) would be an advantage

• Provide training courses and application for Security Personnel PERMIT for  interested personnel in joining a career in the electronic security system industry

Major Duties:

(a)

To assist in workshops / laboratories equipment installation / maintenance and training session preparation;

(b)

To assist the lecturers during laboratory / practical classes;

(c)

To assist in trouble shooting, acquisition and installation of all equipment, hardware and software;

(d)

To assist in the implementation of safety measures in laboratories and maintaining the tidiness of the workshops / laboratories;

(e)

To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores and equipment; and

(f)

To provide technical support for teaching activities, as well as special projects, events and exhibitions.

Requirements:

(a)

A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Multimedia, Computer Science or IT-related disciplines;

(b)

At least 2 years' relevant work experience;

(c)

Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software and networking;

(d)

Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese;

(e)

Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and

(f)

Candidate(s) with experience / knowledge / skills in any of the following areas would be an advantage:

(i)

AI and digital tools used in education sector;

(ii)

Web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Moodle learning platform; and/or

(iii)

Video editing software, animation tools and multimedia production technologies.
