- Process securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products
- Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues, and make process improvement recommendations to leadership
- Analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements, aid in control activities, and contribute to the launch of product services
- Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
- Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
- Design and analyze moderately complex reports, in coordination with standards set by direct leadership
- Assist with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
- Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
- Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good understand of foreign exchange operations and exchange regulations in Asia markets
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance

**In this role, you're expected to:**

**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:**

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Good understand of foreign exchange operations and exchange regulations in Asia markets

As part of the Group Treasury team, the Deputy Manager plays a key role in managing and enhancing payment operations across the organization. Key responsibilities include overseeing transaction reviews, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards, and streamlining payment workflows for greater efficiency. The role also involves monitoring daily cash positions, liaising with banks and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues, and supporting system upgrades to strengthen payment security and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Payment Operations
- Oversee vendor payments, tax payments, and intercompany settlements with precision
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations while maintaining timeliness
- Manage payment platforms and systems (e.g., host-to-host, ERP integrations)
- Resolve payment-related issues and support reconciliation
Cash Management
- Monitor daily cash flow, forecasting, liquidity and bank accounts
- Optimize cash utilization across entities and regions.
- Coordinate fund transfers, FX transactions, and banking services.
- Support treasury tasks including intercompany funding and cash pooling.
Process & System Enhancement
- Streamline cash and payment workflows to boost efficiency and reduce risk.
- Participate in system upgrades and automation projects.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., AP, AR, Tax, TI) and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, vendors)
- Support onboarding of new banking partners and payment methods.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare cash flow reports, payment dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis for management review.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines
- 5-7 years of experience in payment processing and/or cash management
- Experience in real estate industry is a plus but not a must
- Hands-on experience in payment and cash management
- Proficient in Excel modelling and e-banking operations
- Detail-minded, flexible, hands-on, able to work under pressure, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good team player, willing to share knowledge with team members
- Familiarity with banking platforms, ERP systems and payment technologies

Responsibilities
As Sales in PCM, you will support the GTPS business development in any sales activity with Corporates and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. Thereby you will have a large level of autonomy, working on aportfolio and other sales projects which are initiated and supervised by the Senior Sales Manager. You will report to the Head of the department.
- Products and services to be marketed will include, amongst others
- Domestic and international means of payment
- Foreign Exchange (related to payments)
- Working Capital Financing Solutions
- Connectivity solutions as well as associated services
- Liquidity Management solutions
- Active cross-selling with the different departments of the Bank to promote Transaction Banking and increase customer bas
Daily Duties:
- Independently manage sales deals and achieve business development targets with a portfolio of existing and prospective customers;
- Actively develop new to bank business from both existing portfolio and onboarding new clients
- Conduct sales activities with consultative approach by advising customers with treasury management knowledge & GTPS solutions and providing tailored proposals;
- Lead or respond to RFPs, conduct global account plans for strategic clients, conduct market intelligence and industry research;
- Assist Senior Sales Manager and Department Head on complex sales deal and innovative sales initiatives to optimize product offering or operational efficiency.;
- Be responsible for revenues growth by generating revenue reports, closely monitoring trends & behaviours of key customers and analyzing Commercial Performance;
- Be responsible for profitability and risk management of the sales deals and customer portfolio;
- Work closely with GTPS counterparties and coverage bankers around the globe
- Promote GTPS via business pushes, represent GTPS’s interests in all time, bring product expertise to various departments including the coverage team;
- The role requires strong client orientation, business development skill, transaction banking products and process knowledge; regulatory and risk processes knowledge; excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication skills and professional integrity at all times.
- Hold a relevant Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Finance or similar
- Strong experience in Transaction Banking covering Payments and Cash Management or Trade Finance
- Good level of knowledge on Transaction Banking Products and of China economical background and companies
- Credit knowledge is preferred;
- Business oriented and profitability driven
- Capacity to work in a highly diversified cultural environment.
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to provide relevant reporting to stakeholders
- Fluent in English and both spoken & written Chinese (Mandarin)
