Job Description
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior UX Researcher with 6–8 years of experience in complex product environments who wants to do more than just run studies—you want to transform how product decisions are made. This is your chance to embed research deeply in a fast-paced organization operating at the intersection of crypto and finance.
You’ll lead foundational and evaluative research while building a culture of continuous discovery across our flagship products: Main App, Exchange, and Onchain. You’ll introduce scalable frameworks, coach teams to own their research, and ensure user understanding is embedded throughout the product lifecycle. Your impact will extend beyond insights—you’ll shape strategy, accelerate learning cycles, and help measure how effectively we meet real user needs. If you want to build a research practice that drives what ships—and amplifies its impact through others—this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:- Build and scale research systems by introducing lightweight processes, playbooks, and tools that enable teams to conduct consistent, rigorous user research.
- Coach and empower cross-functional teams to adopt a continuous discovery mindset, providing guidance, training, and support to make research integral to how we work.
- Lead high-impact studies to demonstrate best practices, uncover foundational insights, and accelerate strategic understanding where needed.
- Translate user insights into compelling narratives that influence product decisions, shape roadmaps, and elevate user understanding across the organization.
- Research Systems & Enablement
- Proven experience setting up research operations from scratch—tools, templates, repositories, and scalable processes teams trust.
- Systems thinker who embeds research in product culture through rituals, onboarding, enablement, and ongoing collaboration.
- Experience standardizing methods across teams while tailoring to context and product maturity.
- Methodological Rigor
- Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods, knowing when and how to combine them effectively.
- Skilled at designing research plans that balance speed and depth, distinguishing between generic feedback and high-impact insights.
- Comfortable applying statistical principles to ensure confidence, significance, and validity in findings.
- Proficient with tools like Dovetail, Maze, Typeform, UserTesting, Mixpanel, and Tableau, integrating them into workflows to uncover patterns and track behavior at scale.
- Collaboration & Influence
- Strong cross-functional collaborator, building trust and alignment with product, design, engineering, and data teams.
- Effective coach for non-researchers, raising the organization’s baseline in discovery and user understanding.
- Clear, confident communicator able to craft narratives that inspire action and connect research to business outcomes.
- Domain Understanding (Preferred)
- Familiarity with crypto, trading, or financial products is a plus—but curiosity and ability to ramp quickly matter most. Passion for complex, data-driven environments is essential.
