Required Qualifications:

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • To assist in planning, organisation, monitoring and coordination of events and promotional activities, which may include conferences, exhibition pavilions, and competitions, etc.
  • To execute the events' publicity plan including developing and monitoring social media posts, press releases, and interview speaking points, advertorials, outdoor promotion, etc.
  • To liaise and coordinate with local and Mainland ICT industry stakeholders and/or contractors on event related activities and deliverables
  • To assist in drafting responses to enquiries and conducting information research on ICT industry events and stakeholders
  • To assist in managing web applications for event calendar and notification of IT open tenders

Job Requirement:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
  • At least 4 years' experience in IT industry
  • At least 2 years' experience in organising publicity activities such as marketing events or exhibitions
  • At least 2 years' experience in conducting online/offline promotion through websites, developing social media posts such as Facebook, Instagram and WeChat, press releases, speeches and speaking points, advertorials, e-newsletter, publication etc.
  • Experience in Adobe Illustrator. Imaging and Website Administration
  • At least 1 year' experience in liaison with local and/or Mainland ICT industry stakeholders
  • Good English and Chinese writing, communication and organisational skills, and fluency in spoken Putonghua, Cantonese and English
  • Good experience in supporting website and/or mobile app, content management system
  • Good knowledge on ICT, wireless and Internet technologies
