Responsibilities:
Conduct user research using various methods, including but not limited to interviews, surveys, usability testing, specifically focused on banking products and services
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights that inform the design of user-friendly banking applications and services
Collaborate with UXUI designers, product managers in different cities to conduct research and understand their operational flows and customers' needs to ensure localized user centered design in compliance with industry regulations
Develop user personas, journey maps and experiences prototypes tailored to banking customers
Present research findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Stay informed on industry trends, and best behavior science practices in UX research withing the banking sector
Manage external research vendor & facilitate design workshop when necessary
To support ad hoc tasks assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years of experience leading research studies: planning, recruiting, executing, and analyzing.
Have strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies such as usability tests, interviews, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, and know when these are best used.
Working knowledge of collaboration, design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Figjam, Miro, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communications skills, both English and Cantonese and facilitation skills, including educating the team about user research
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must
