The Opportunity

This is an executive-level position for emerging leaders who want to flex their sales muscle in an organization that is the global leader of customer service solutions across multiple business verticals. At Teleperformance, your knack for problem-solving and challenge-facing will be paired up with the best tools and technology, allowing you to develop and execute the best sales strategies.

One of the key objectives of this role is to expand business in Insurance sector in China & APAC. Find and evaluate potential new partnerships with a consultative approach. This means that you must understand where the business falls within the market and gauge the impact of this new partnership. You will develop your expertise in new business, allowing you to find and vet partnerships effectively.

The Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design a comprehensive sales strategy of solutions designed to complement our global business development framework that addresses market needs and new growth opportunities in Insurance sector.
  • Map out a business plan with goals, key actions, targets, and measures of success, including its complementing resources and tools needed by the unit/department to meet and exceed the organizational objectives.
  • Direct the smooth implementation of well-defined end-to-end business development plans based on the current or new transformational needs and requirements approved and supported by leadership and our clients.
  • Drive sales strategies aligned to the “Employer of Choice” key business differentiators as a People Company, which are also our competitive industry advantages in the local, national, and regional markets.
  • Use of own network in aiding in opening new markets/opportunities.
  • Coordinates with the Bid/Proposal team to generate presentations and proposals for client delivery.
  • Manages the negotiation process of contracts with current and prospective clients.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative partnerships with our new clients to ensure we deliver committed results.
  • Uphold and promote our Teleperformance core values, norms, standard operating policies, and procedures.
  • Arrange, attend, and oversee tours and visits to various Teleperformance sites and locations virtually and physically on behalf of potential new clients.
  • You will maintain ethical practices that nurture a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates high-potential employees at all levels.
  • You will help support the sales teams to identify and develop TP’s unique selling propositions using knowledge of the market and our competitors.

The First-Year Objectives

  • Develop a business development strategy to engage the identified target list - based on assigned accounts and utilizing your digital rolodex.
  • Qualify xx opportunities per year with the formula to close xx deals per year.
  • Build confidence and trust with accounts through close partnerships and by repeatedly delivering “as promised.”
  • Optimize internal relationships with sales support and Client Services.

The Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or above is preferred.
  • 8+ years of successful enterprise sales experience selling into Insurance verticals.
  • 8+ years of experience in a customer acquisition client-facing role with experience in account growth and creating strategies that exceed our client’s business goals
  • Good understanding of CX-related digital technologies, digital transformation a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and business management skills.
  • Analytical thinking, proactive attitude, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have extensive experience selling and presenting to the highest-level decision-makers (C-level Executives)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
  • Must be highly detailed oriented with the ability to be productive and accountable and work under tight deadlines when needed.

Your Role

As the Vice President, Business Development, Digital for the Asia Pacific Region, you will play a pivotal role in leading, shaping and executing digital licensing strategies, deals making, securing partnerships, and driving revenue growth in one of the most dynamic digital markets. You will lead negotiations with key digital service providers (DSPs), identify emerging licensing opportunities, and work closely with global and regional teams to ensure Warner Chappell Music (WCM) and Warner Music Group (WMG) remains at the forefront of digital innovation. Reporting to the EVP, Global Digital, this role requires deep expertise in music publishing, licensing, and the digital landscape to maximize value for WMG’s songwriters and recording artists. This role sits within the larger Warner Music Group under the Global Digital team lead by the Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape WCM digital licensing strategies across APAC, foster key partnerships, drive revenue growth in a rapidly expanding digital market and contribute to the global digital growth of Warner Music Group.

Here You’ll Get To

  • Lead negotiations with major DSPs across APAC, including China, and support global digital license negotiations.
  • Identify and develop new digital licensing opportunities, ensuring WMG remains agile in a rapidly evolving industry.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key digital partners to drive revenue and maximize content monetization.
  • Partner with the Digital Legal Affairs team and Director, Digital Rights Management to operationalize digital license agreements.
  • Collaborate with WCM Finance to analyze deal structures, model financial impacts, and ensure deals provide meaningful revenue.
  • Work closely with regional leadership (APAC President, MDs, and FDs) to align digital licensing strategies with business objectives.
  • Liaise with SVP, Global Society Relations and Digital Rights, and regional societies to advocate for the implementation of society policies in furtherance of WCM’s global Society strategy.
  • Monitor APAC trends in media, consumer technology, and streaming platforms to inform long-range strategic initiatives.

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in the music industry digital licensing, partnerships, or business development.
  • Deep understanding of music publishing, rights flow, and licensing models across digital platforms.
  • Strong track record in complex commercial negotiation and deal-making with DSPs or media/tech companies.
  • Fluent in English, and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin). Any other Asian language is a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills to assess market trends and business opportunities.

The team you will be joining covers a broad range of areas including the COO function, regional risk reporting and governance, regulatory coordination, regional stress testing, issue management, new products review governance and Hong Kong risk management. **Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee the regional Global Markets risk reporting function covering all Lines of Business and overall regional risk metrics. These are critical reports and are distributed to senior executives and regulators to provide comprehensive updates on the region's risk profile.
+ Manage the governance, business operations, controls, and support activities (i.e. service relationships, business continuity) for the APAC Global Markets Risk organization.
+ Lead and participate in key and strategic initiatives as well as issues management. Effectively and efficiently coordinates and drives execution of key priorities.
+ Participate in thematic analyses and deep dives on key risk topics.
+ Lead regulatory coordination across 12 countries.
+ Collaborate effectively with other Global Risk Management teams globally, Front Line Units, and other Enterprise Control Functions on the execution of governance initiatives, and to ensure consistency and best practices across the enterprise
+ Participate in various business control committees to highlight risk arising from the activities within the region
**Required Skills:**
+ Minimum 2 years experience in global markets risk, governance, business management and/or business controls experience in a large financial institution with a demonstrated history of success
+ Knowledge of market and counterparty risk management and experience with regulatory and internal audit interactions
+ Experience in planning, leading and supporting major projects
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven ability to develop executive ready communications and presentations
+ Exceptionally strong attention to accuracy, detail and consistency
+ Ability to multitask and collaborate with numerous team members and across functions/businesses

The Vice President, Digital Acquisition is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Manage the full digital acquisition journey of new customers through awareness, acquisition and activation
  • Drive top of funnel traffic through acquisition programs with with partners, vendors and organic channels.
  • Develop and implement these acquisition programs, working in conjunction with segment, product, marketing, digital product, finance and internal control stakeholders to deliver on acquisition objectives
  • Influence decisions regarding vendor/agency selection, development of creative assets, copywriting, channel testing strategy. Advise business teams on which products should be marketed / tested
  • Source and manage exposure relationships with advertising partners, ad networks and publishers
  • Benchmark our full conversion journey vs competitors. Identify areas to improve conversion yield through engagement strategies or process reengineering
  • Develop data driven digital engagement and content strategy to effectively deliver Citi's franchise value to new and existing customers, based on different personas and needs
  • Own all acquisition and activation touchpoints, including landing pages, application channels, mobile app and website modules
  • Oversee quality assurance in ad copies, landing pages and sitelinks pre and post launch
  • Document and manage quality assurance and record retention as per the process manual as required for business audit on a quarterly basis
  • Manage regular reporting related to acquisition and sales
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • 6-10 years of experience in a digital marketing or digital product role. Alternatively, similar experience with banking products and driving process change within those business units
  • Experience with wealth, unsecured lending or banking products a plus
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for process reengineering and implementing them in a banking environment is greatly valued
