What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Talent Sourcing to establish and manage recruitment strategy
  • Advise managers on linking performance to reward, coordinating annual performance, promotion and compensation processes
  • Manage complex Employee Relations (ER) cases and provide coaching and guidance to managers and relevant stakeholders
  • Actively guide and advise regional Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives on people related topics
  • Oversee restructuring programs (including coordinating across regions with HR Business Advisor colleagues), drive change in the approach to management of employee performance issues;
  • Be part of a global HR team supporting business lines regionally. Provide regional context around global initiatives and modify accordingly based on regional business needs, local labour laws and firm policy.
  • Strengthen leadership effectiveness and talent pipeline in senior management
  • Use key qualitative and quantitative metrics to inform decisions and HR strategies


How You’ll Lead:

  • Partnering with the heads of business to define and translate business needs into human capital strategy and ensure sound people decisions are undertaken
  • Support organizational change and drive transformation and restructuring initiatives
  • Coaching senior managers in global/regional or divisional teams in modelling required leadership behaviours and supporting organizational development in their teams
  • Work closely with the Business Advisory team to identify continuous improvement opportunities, drive process change, and create efficiencies across the function


Skills You’ll Need:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting senior leadership in the organisation
  • Experience and proven ability to provide strategic HR consulting, exhibiting client and business acumen
  • 12+ years’ experience in HR and atleast 5-6 years as a business partner
  • Experience in an Investment bank/financial institution preferred.
  • Experience working as part of global and regional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, Cantonese and Mandarin speaker preferred
  • Deep understanding of HR products and ability to collaborate across the HR function

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Understand the staffing needs from hiring managers and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment cycle for front-line and business development role for HK and China team
  • Develop strong sourcing network to build and maintain a talent pipeline
  • Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to source high-quality candidates
  • Conduct resume screening, conduct interviews, assessing candidates for cultural fit, skills, and qualifications
  • Manage communication with candidates throughout the interview process and negotiate terms with selected candidates
  • Maintain up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Keep abreast of the market conditions and share relevant insights with internal stakeholders

What you'll need:

  • 5 - 8 years of working experience in related to Talent Acquisition.
  • Bachelor's Degree holder of business-related discipline.
  • Fluent in verbal & written both English and Chinese
  • Passion in acquiring new business knowledge in fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter and fast learner
  • Able to multi-task, fast learner, good follow through, problem solving skill, good comprehension, customer relations and proactive mindset. .

Your future role within QRT:

You will play a pivotal, end-to-end role at QRT, attracting and securing top-tier talent for our rapidly expanding technology and trading teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end hiring processes for specialised roles in high frequency trading technology, such as Low-Latency C++ Developers, Front-Office Technologists, etc.
  • Proactively identifying and engaging top talent through direct outreach, professional networks, industry events, and recruitment platforms such as Greenhouse and LinkedIn
  • Creating a seamless and positive candidate journey from initial engagement to offer and onboarding
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand the technical and business needs of roles across different Technology teams
  • Partnering with and managing external recruitment agency relationships to ensure alignment with QRT’s hiring standards and objectives

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience doing end-to-end recruitment within the high-frequency trading, technology, or fintech industries
  • Familiarity with recruiting for highly technical roles, including real-time systems, algorithmic trading platforms, and front-office tools
  • Advanced experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse) and professional tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Demonstrable ability to use recruiting analytics and market insights to guide hiring strategies, adhering to a data-driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with hiring managers (up to C-level), candidates, and external recruitment partners
  • Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment
