Report: Managing Director and the Logistics Corporate Division

Job Summary: Savino Del Bene is seeking a proactive and organized Logistics Operations Manager who reports hierarchically to the Managing Director and functionally to the Logistics Corporate Division. Oversees and controls all logistics activities to ensure agreed-upon customer service levels, operational efficiency, and profitability.

Key Activities:

Operations

- Contributes to the development of the operational strategy and participates in the definition of strategic development measures with the Group's Global Logistics Management

- Responsible for medium/long-term planning

- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating productivity, reviewing warehouse KPIs, and ensuring proper use of tools and equipment to ensure efficient management in the global process

- Responsible for monitoring labor costs and participating in the planning and organization of shifts

- Direct and supervise warehouse employees in assigned operations

- Monitor inbound and outbound operations according to daily tasks

- Responsible for maintaining order and appearance of logistics sites

- Interfaces with the IT department for all issues and updates

- Understand and oversee IT activities by supporting managers' needs in daily troubleshooting activities

- Verify that customer service requests are received by the warehouse promptly with the correct priorities.

- Interact with key customers in regular meetings to analyze problems and propose solutions

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Innovation and Improvement

- Responsible for the implementation of innovation projects shared with the Logistics Management

- Develops specific analysis and proposes improvement actions to Logistics Management and the Managing Director

- Shares efficiency and operational process improvement strategies with Logistics Management

- Encourages innovative thinking

- Analyzes time and methods and proposes improvements in processes and procedures

Human Resources

- Leads, motivates and manages operations and customer service teams

- Oversees the relationship between warehouse and customer service employees

- Ensures employees are properly recruited, selected, and continually trained

- Identifies employees capable of internal growth

- Promotes clarity and sets ambitious and achievable goals that are shared through regular meetings and communications

- Promotes accuracy, fairness and completeness in the exchange of information within and outside the company

- Create a positive and motivating environments for all employees

Organization/Business Processes

- Develops budgets in collaboration with managers and is responsible for submitting them to the Logistics Department and to the Managing Director

- Responsible for process standardization strategy

- Understands the Warehouse Management System and its rationale

- Maximizes the use of the company's warehouse management software

- Understands internal/external KPIs

- Verifies that SOPs are created and updated

- Maintain good interdepartmental relationships and liaise with suppliers and customers

- Demonstrates the ability to employ a range of different techniques to lead, coach, and develop staff

- Orientation to results

- Organizational skills

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Computer and digital skills

Preferred experience:

- Bachelor's degree in economics, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering

- Proven experience (7-10 years) in the logistics industry, preferably in the fashion industry

- Fluency in English, Mandarin, and the local language preferred

-Full responsibility on shipping document management and traceability on shipment records;
-Import license preparation and declaration application in due course to meet customs requirement
Stock management:
-Analyzes inventory level to execute order creation in ERP for stock replenishment
-Making decision on releasing backorders based on inventory level
-Closely monitor outstanding orders and ensure delivery as per requested schedule with 3PL team
-Resolves inventory variances with adequate training & ERP system expertise; Preparing ERP Reporting for analyze and ensure accuracy in ERP transactions transmission to 3PL ERP
-Goods return and scrap management
Reporting:
-Proactively update stakeholders on reporting on daily and monthly basis
-Vendor management:
-Creating annual purchase orders for logistics related cost and allocating corresponding expense to the appropriate accounts;
-Follow up contract/ agreement with vendor on regular basis;
-Process all logistics related invoice for Hong Kong vendors;
**Requirements**
-Proficiency in MS-Excel and PowerPoint
-Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices, particularly in logistics and transportation.
-A minimum of 5 years in all rounded experience in shipping , inventory management experience is advantage;
-Solid experience in ERP system, SAP is preferrable;
-Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to peers and management;
-Demonstrated ability and willingness to pick up ad hoc tasks; with a can-do attitude;
-Attention to detail; with the ability to identify gaps and discrepancies;
-Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner;
-Business level English communication skills required;
-Ideally holds a relevant university degree

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Supply Chain Director to lead our overseas on-demand supply chain operations, specifically catering to the fast fashion industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain, focusing on developing new vendors and nearshore production, and enhancing overall efficiency to cope with the company's fast growth in the global market.
  • Overseas Operations Management: Build and manage an on-demand supply chain network in key international markets, particularly in Europe, to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfillment of orders.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality in the supply chain.
  • Capacity Management: Oversee the planning and management of production to ensure they align with demand forecasts and business objectives. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize capacity utilization.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process, implementing changes to enhance performance and reduce waste.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external clients to provide updates on supply chain performance and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in supply chain management, experience in the European fast fashion industry is preferred.
  • Global Market Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of global supply chain dynamics, with a deep understanding of the European market.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a track record of developing and mentoring junior staff.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in supply chain management software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, with a strong understanding of international business practices.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English. Proficiency in another European language (e.g., Spanish, French, German) is highly desirable.
