We are seeking a talented Web Engineer to join our team. As a member in web team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our web streaming platform for better user experience and engagement through strategic insights and continuous data analysis from different teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications, ensure that they are scalable, maintainable, and meet business requirements
• Build components and libraries in a readable and reusable manner
• Optimize applications to improve speed and scalability
• Work closely with product team to clarify project requirements
• Perform troubleshooting for ongoing production issues
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in web development

Requirements

• Proven experience in software and web development
• Proven experience in complex projects, with a deep understanding of software and website development methodologies and best practices
• Experience with React, Vue, Angular, or other modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with HTML5 video player development is a plus
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision
• Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
