Position
This position will be in-charge of the Greater China Travel Retail, APAC DFS & Wholesales Account of JWA business.
Job responsibilities
- Manage sales forecast based on:
- Analyze sell-in data vs sell-out results
- Evaluate newness sales performance
- Determine newness + existing trend
- Monitor sales trend of top key selling references
- Budgeting and Monitoring
- Propose budget plan to cover the areas of sales revenue, Capex, Sales Promotion and P&L
- Review sales results against budget with action plans to achieve desired performance.
- Make, propose and monitor expenses and implement cost efficiency measures
- Collaborate with Interior Design team and TR operators on the maintenance and renovation of all POS
- Business Development
- Explore viable new opportunities to further elevate brand exposures, brand revenue and profits within corporate cap-ex parameters and image standard.
- Evaluate and propose possible locations for network expansion
- Lead the POS opening projects and collaborate with relevant departments and TR operators
- Provide clearly and consistently strategic and operational guidelines to ensure team's achievement of all regional budgets and objectives.
- Foster strong and win-win partnership with key partners to secure superior and competitive support for brand growth.
- Collaborate closely with Business Units to ensure maximum productivity of TR product assortment, and full alignment with market interests and trend. Ensure smooth depletion of production forecast especially festive collections and TR Exclusives.
- Collaborate closely with Domestic Sales / Marketing Managers / Commercial Trainers in key markets (eg Hong Kong, China and Taiwan) to ensure full cooperation and synergies in market activities (eg Press launch, Events & Launch calendar etc).
- Manage key accounts with close collaboration with their regional / worldwide marketing team; maximize business opportunities at corporate scale.
- University Degree with a minimum 8-10 years of managerial experience either in the luxury market or FMCG industry.
- Proven people management skill and negotiation skills.
- Independent, resourceful, with high level of drive.
- Fluent in both written & spoken English & Chinese
- Seniority level Mid-Senior level

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for Lomography in APAC (specific markets to be assigned based on the candidate’s background, experience and skillsets). To succeed in this role, you need to be a persuasive person with a driving force for closing deals, developing new sales channels, building relationships, identifying market trends, developing and executing strategies accordingly, counterbalanced by your mad love for analogue photography and creativity!

Responsibilities
- Research and identify new growth opportunities for Lomography's wholesale and retail business in the Asia Pacific markets including business partnership with chain stores, concept stores, independent retailers, distributors.
- Proactively research and identify new potential wholesale accounts, build a pipeline of new leads and be the first point of contact.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to negotiation, closing deals, and contract.
- Follow up and optimise sell-through, and ensure excellent product presentation in retails.
- Manage existing and new accounts and ensure productive partnerships and sales growth with our customers.
- Research and develop projects of customised Lomography products with brand and cooperate partners.
- Collaborate with our marketing team and create marketing support and collaboration with our customers.
- Proactively provide regular updates, market research, analysis, reports on sales activities, clients' status and progress toward sales targets to the management team.
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken). Any additional language is a plus.
- Studies or experience in the related field (sales, business development, marketing)
- Knowledge of Lomography and Analogue Photography is an advantage.
- Motivated self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Interest in Arts, culture and design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding computer literacy is required.
- Ability to dive into data, analyze, strategize and set measurable goals.

This position will be responsible for driving CITIC Securities Asset Management’s sales and distribution strategy for wholesale distribution clients principally in Hong Kong and China, and potentially more broadly in APAC depending on experience.
For the right candidate this position will offer significant career opportunities, including the potential for growth into broader leadership positions and responsibilities within Asset Management.
Candidates for this position will need to demonstrate (i) a clear understanding of the product and service strengths of CITIC Securities Asset Management, (ii) the challenges of building relationships with regional wholesalers (private banks, wealth management firms, securities firms, consumer banks and other offline and online distribution intermediaries), and (iii) a clear plan to address those challenges. A successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate proven success at developing sales strategies and raising assets with such intermediaries in the region.
This position is likely to be located in Hong Kong although some flexibility on location is available.

Corporate Communications
Hang Seng’s Corporate Communications Department formulates and executes compelling communications programmes that promote the Bank’s corporate image, products and services. It monitors public opinions about the Bank and ensures important messages are conveyed in a timely and effective manner, both internally and externally. The Department also helps safeguard Hang Seng’s brand and position as the leading domestic bank in Hong Kong by advising on reputational matters and strengthening relationships with its stakeholders.
The Business Communications function plans and implements strategic initiatives supporting the Bank’s business growth plan. Working very closely with business heads, in particular Retail, Wholesale, Hang Seng Index, Hang Seng Insurance, Hang Seng Investment Company, the team proactively plans and executes communication initiatives to promote the Bank’s business, products and services, and to manage the Bank’s reputation. The team also builds thought leadership and establish amicable relationship with various external stakeholders, leverage multiple channels including but not limited to traditional media, social media, external speaking opportunities and other events. The team also manages reputational issues for the Bank.
Reporting to the Head of Business Communications, the Senior Business Communications Manager – Retail/ Wholesale is responsible for developing and implementing the Bank's business communications strategy focusing on the Retail/ Wholesale business, aligning with the overall business growth plan. This role will focus on the major aspects of integrated communications, content creation, executive profiling, and reputational management to ensure effective and consistent messaging across all channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading strategic communications initiatives within a complex financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Communications And Campaign Planning And Management
- Plan and execute creative and integrated communications campaigns, events and initiatives that strategically and effectively support the Bank’s business needs, support customer and business growth, and engage and inspire the Bank’s key external stakeholders.
- Drive the Bank's business growth stories through engaging content for various channels, including media, YouTube, LinkedIn.
- Lead key message planning and develop creative and compelling stories to support the Bank’s business growth and development across various platforms, including media pitching, social media (LinkedIn, YouTube etc).
- Responsible for speech writing for senior executives to ensure impactful delivery and alignment with business messaging.
- Develop and maintain all business-related corporate materials (press releases, speeches, brochures etc)
- Plan and drive executive profiling and build thought leadership for the Bank’s senior business executives.
- Manage corporate announcements including results announcements, production of annual report, and support AGM messaging.
- Lead the team to cultivate strong relationships with business media across local, mainland and international markets.
- Proactively generate positive media coverage through events, press releases, and targeted outreach.
- Manage media enquiries and develop strategic responses.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential reputational risks in collaboration with all business units.
- Support annual reputational risk assessments.
- Be an effective team leader by showcasing excellent communications and people skills; promoting a culture of teamwork, trust and mutual support; delegating effectively and empower team members to take ownership; developing and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential; be open to seek feedback.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Corporate Communications, preferably in banking and in a sizable organization
- Strong media relations especially with business and finance media in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
- An innovative communicator. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with a proven ability to develop compelling and impactful content.
- Strong understanding of the banking industry and its regulatory landscape.
- Excellent strategic messaging skills, encompassing developing impactful key messages, aligning communication initiatives with business goals, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels.
- Experience in crisis and issues management, including identifying and mitigating reputational risks, developing crisis communication plans, and responding effectively to crisis situations.
- Skilled in storytelling and be able to craft engaging narratives, visualize messages, and connect with audience emotions.
- Proficient in content creation and storytelling on social media platforms, including YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Good design and art sense.
- Experience in planning and executing events of various sizes.
