About the Job

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Head to lead the procurement and supply planning functions for our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role will oversee the entire supply chain—from raw material sourcing to demand planning, and product development.

You'll play a key role in aligning supply and demand, driving cost efficiencies, and partnering with cross-functional departments such as Production and Commercial teams to ensure optimal operations and savings.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and manage the supply chain function from raw material sourcing, procurement and demand supply planning.
• Source raw materials and work closely with product development teams to support new product launches.
• Develop and execute demand and supply planning strategies that strike a balance between availability and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive double-digit cost savings (as per strategic goals).
• Present cost-saving initiatives and performance outcomes to leadership using data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Production teams to manage procurement needs and resolve any operational conflicts.
• Mentor and manage a team of 10 across Hong Kong and Guangzhou.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing within the raw material, supplement, food, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
• Proven track record in demand and supply planning, cost savings, and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills; able to balance supply and demand needs effectively.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with international suppliers.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate cost-saving metrics and supply chain performance.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.

1. Supply Chain & Stock Management:

2. Overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

3. Managing stock levels, maintaining high inventory accuracy, and preventing out-of-stock (OOS) situations through proactive forecasting.

Core Responsibilities:

Global Supply Chain Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end global supply chain strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across Production Planning, Material Planning, Logistics/Shipping, Warehousing, and Customs Compliance.
• Align supply chain operations with corporate financial, quality, and customer service objectives.

Production & Material Planning:

• Oversee centralized global planning team in Shenzhen, in collaboration with site PMC teams,  to ensure synchronized sales and operations planning (S&OP), demand planning, and material requirements planning (MRP) across all sites and partners.
• Optimize inventory levels, reduce obsolescence, and improve forecast accuracy by leveraging SAP ERP capabilities.
• Manage capacity planning and production scheduling across owned facilities, JVs, and subcontractors.

Logistics & Distribution:

• Design and manage global inbound and outbound logistics networks to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and customs brokers across multiple jurisdictions.
• Implement real-time shipment tracking, KPI dashboards, and logistics cost analytics.

Warehousing & Inventory Management:

• Standardize global warehouse operations, layout, and WMS integration with SAP.
• Drive inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and lean warehousing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and security standards in all storage locations.

Customs & Trade Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to import/export regulations, HS code classifications, and duty optimization programs (e.g., ASEAN-China FTA, USMCA, EU customs union).
• Partner with Legal and Finance to mitigate trade risks and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead tariff engineering, bonded warehouse strategies, and free trade zone utilization.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global supply chain team across multiple countries.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or Master's in Operations/Logistics preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior Director or VP-level role.
• Must have direct experience in the electronic manufacturing industry (OEM/ODM/EMS preferred).
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-country manufacturing and logistics networks (Asia, EMEA, Americas).
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA), especially modules related to planning, logistics, and global trade.
• Experience managing JVs, contract manufacturers, and outsourced operations in Asia.
• Strong understanding of global customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade compliance.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation.
• Excellent cross-cultural leadership and communication skills.
• Data-driven decision maker with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin or Vietnamese is a strong plus.

• Establishes department goals/ measurements and manages resources to achieve this goals.
