Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to final production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with design, procurement, and supply chain teams to align on project deliverable and ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative ideas into the product portfolio.
- Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality materials and negotiate favourable terms and pricing.
- Oversee production schedules, proactively addressing any issues to ensure timely delivery and minimal disruption.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including product specifications, approvals, and cost analyses, to support transparency and traceability.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal standards throughout the development process.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, key milestones, and potential risks.
- A strong background in product development within the FMCG or E-commerce industry, particularly in fashion or apparel.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Solid experience in women bottoms, including skirts and dresses are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Good understanding of current market trends and consumer preferences.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with stakeholders and vendors.
- A competitive annual salary package in the range of HKD 540,000 to 660,000.

- Support on formulating customer strategies to drive customer growth and profitability

- Degree Holder in Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in banking industry, preferably relevant experience in customer segmentation or marketing
- Good Interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Independent, attentive to details, customer-oriented, positive and proactive working attitude
- Strong planning, organization and time management skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure

As the Product Development Manager at Schroders, you will assist the Head of Product Development, Hong Kong in providing support to oversee products for Hong Kong and cross-border China. These product activities spanning from development of new products, share class ideas, ongoing maintenance & governance and termination of products, to coordination and maintenance of internal and external product materials, which include working closely with Client Group, Investment and other relevant teams, within Hong Kong and across different locations in Asia Pacific Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management and support implementation of onshore product lifecycle activities, product-related initiatives and other relevant projects from time to time, including but not limited to new fund launches, terminations and changes triggered by changes in regulations.
- Coordinate product updates and changes of offshore funds that will impact the region, including liaison with local Product Development teams for feedback where necessary on any local requirements to Product Development Team in London and relevant teams in Luxembourg for delivery of cross-border initiatives.
- Participate and keep abreast of various local and regulatory initiatives (i.e. through internal teams, industry forum, conference, meetings with regulator) in order to assess impacts and coordinate discussion with relevant stakeholders to implement necessary changes to authorized local and cross border funds.
- Manage internal product approval processes e.g. Hong Kong Executive Committee, Asia Pacific Product Development Committee (APAC PDC) and liaise with London for the relevant internal approvals if necessary.
- Coordinate within the region on regular update on product health check and product lifecycle activities.
- Operate as SME on product related matters to support local and regional sales and marketing efforts.
- Work with Legal and other relevant teams on the update of the Hong Kong product documentation including fund prospectus, KFS and related ESG disclosure.
- Support the regional APAC Product Development team and Client Group in identifying product gaps and opportunities, new strategies, capitalizing on market (i.e. MRF , GBA), regulatory and ESG developments / trends and reviewing commercial viability of APAC product ranges.
- Assist to review and update the team’s manual and checklist to ensure the team’s processes are up-to-date and relevant and operate adhering to protocol and processes, including in relation to investment delegation and key investment personnel, for compliant to the relevant regulatory requirement
- Provide on the job coaching to junior members of the team.
- Degree graduate with preferably at least 5 years of relevant fund industry experience (a strong plus if Product Development related).
- Proactive and adaptable approach.
- Positive attitude and ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues across the business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as the role involves working closely with sales, investment, marketing, legal and compliance teams
- Fluent in verbal and written English. Good in verbal and written Mandarin.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational, numerical and analytical skills.
- Be able to work independently while also as a team player.

• Lead the new product development process, including concept design, composition, packaging, pricing, and launch strategy. Oversee packaging sampling, label approval, and production material matching to ensure compliance and timely launch.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle post-launch. Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop integrated marketing plans, drive product iteration, extension, and channel strategy optimization to enhance product competitiveness and profitability.
• Establish a systematic product model framework, defining product positioning, target audience, price points, and design style to support data-driven decision-making.
• Take full ownership of product marketing and promotion. Plan and execute integrated online and offline marketing campaigns to enhance brand influence and product sales.
• Monitor and analyze sales data, consumer feedback, and market performance. Regularly evaluate campaign ROI and adjust product and marketing strategies accordingly.
• Develop annual A&P plans and manage the budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Effectively coordinate internal and external teams to ensure smooth operations across R&D, production, logistics, and sales.
Requirements:
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, working proficiency in Mandarin. Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Economics, Food Science, or a related field. Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Nielsen).
• Minimum 5 years of product management experience in FMCG, food, imported food, or multinational food brands. Proven experience in building successful products from 0 to 1 is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and supply chain management. Ability to independently manage the product lifecycle and ensure compliance.
• Strong market analysis, logical thinking, innovation, and exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Passionate about the food industry with a strong focus on quality and detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Familiarity with API integrations, automation platforms, data analytics tools, and AI-enabled features to support GTM engineering tasks.
- Proven track record in facilitating adoption of AI/ML-driven product features at the application level.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin to bridge technical and business stakeholders, including financial professionals, engineers, and sales teams.

Responsibilities
Drive Enhancements to Protocol & Infrastructure
