Job Description And Responsibilities
IBKR seeks motivated, analytical, and methodical individuals with a background in the financial services industry and a professional demeanor to join an exciting team that is helping to shape one of the world's strongest trading and brokerage brands.

Responsibilities

  • Handling client inquiries about IBKR's security system via phone, tickets and chat
  • Problem management with a focus on security protocols and practices
  • Assisting clients in the configuration and use of IBKR's two-factor authentication smartphone app
  • Identification and escalation of issues about the secure login of clients using IBKR's smartphone app
Qualification
  • Previous experience in a client service role (fresh graduates able to demonstrate related skills will be considered)
  • Experience with Windows and/or macOS and basic office applications
  • Experience and knowledge of Android/iOS smartphone operating systems
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English (knowing Mandarin is a plus)

Purpose of Role
Develop and manage the technical specification packages for apparel prototypes.
Your Impact

  • Contribute ideas for construction, materials and components to enhance functionality, and aesthetic and fit.
  • Build and review technical packages for one or more categories
  • Support maintenance of Fit Block Libraries
  • Conduct fit sessions on body form and/or live models, including size sets
  • Able to identify fit issues, perform fit adjustments and communicate changes to improve fit and function
  • Assist with establishing 2D/3D pattern blocks and provides oversight to pattern block library management. Recommend changes to grading to achieve the best fit across size range
  • Analyze samples to identify discrepancies prior to fitting. Ensure samples reflect established category standards for fit, construction and quality
  • Analyzes artwork to identify risk, assist with establishing standards, identify quality issues and approve strike offs
  • Owns cross functional meeting communication for the development team. Must be able to effectively solve problems with design, costing, quality and delivery issues
  • Independently communicate with vendors to solve problems and all issues related to garment engineering
  • Review daily and seasonal tracking of prototype samples. Provides cross-functional teams with accurate tracking data. Problem-solve complex issues as necessary and make recommendations to manager
  • Ability to dynamically deliver product presentations related to fit and construction
  • Domestic and overseas travel as necessary
  • Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of technical design or product development experience
  • 2D PDS required. Must have job experience using software (classes and/or theory does not qualify), such as ‘Optitex, Lectra, Gerber Accumark…etc.
  • Experience fitting on live models and virtual models, including size sets
  • Advanced knowledge of garment construction
  • Expertise building Development Tech Packs
  • Must have superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to conduct product presentations in a clear, concise, engaging manner
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, a PLM system, Excel and Gerber or Optitex PDS
  • Factory experience and 3D pattern experience preferred

Summary
This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end technical consulting services, with a focus on solution certification, system integration, HID Origo SDKs, APIs, and secure deployments. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to partners, ensuring that partner and enterprise solutions are validated, optimized, and production-ready.
As our Technical Consultant , you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Assist clients with integration of Mobile SDKs (Android & iOS) and Origo APIs.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement or review new features and ensure alignment with certification criteria.
  • Perform technical audits, interoperability testing, and security assessments.
  • Provide hands-on guidance during deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization phases.
  • Document technical requirements, validation outcomes, and best practices.
  • Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Security, Support) to ensure consistent delivery standards.
  • Lead technical validation of partner and solutions for Solution Certification.
  • Conduct developer enablement sessions and workshops when needed.
  • Stay updated on platform changes, emerging technologies, and certification frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Environment team based in Hong Kong
  • Control and management of the whole life cycle of projects in the Environment team

  • Hands-on experience in leading environmental impact assessments

Role Overview

We are seeking a Presales Engineer (Technical Solutions) to join our Hong Kong team.

This is a deeply technical role designed to bridge the gap between our sales team, engineering team, and clients . The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical resource during the sales process, ensuring that client needs are translated into realistic, effective, and scalable solutions.

This role is focused on solution design and pre-deployment consultation only — it does not involve project management or implementation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert supporting the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  • Understand client requirements, analyze feasibility , and translate them into viable technical solutions .
  • Clearly explain complex solutions to clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Support the technical aspects of tender responses and participate in tender interviews .
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to define standard (bundle) vs. customized solutions .
  • Manage client expectations by guiding them toward realistic and budget-aligned solutions .
  • Serve as a bridge between sales and engineering , ensuring both teams are aligned on solution feasibility and delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Technical Expertise (Primary Requirement)

  • Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields .
  • Solid understanding of software, systems architecture, and emerging technologies (AI, SaaS, IoT, or video analytics experience is a plus).
  • Ability to assess solution feasibility and suggest alternatives when needed.

Client-Facing Skills

  • Strong communication skills; capable of translating technical solutions into clear, client-friendly language .
  • Able to manage discussions with clients and guide them toward realistic, workable solutions .
  • Not required to “sell,” but must be confident in supporting sales with technical depth .

Solution-Oriented Mindset

  • Skilled in balancing client requirements with technical and budget constraints.
  • Ability to ask the right questions , challenge unrealistic expectations, and align stakeholders on practical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative mindset.

  • Lead and grow the Power and Renewable team in Asia.
  • Control and management of the whole life cycle of the Power and Renewable projects in the region.

Requirements
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant science / engineering discipline.

  • Have a minimum of 20 years’ experience in the Energy and Renewable sector.
  • Have strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a good command of written and spoken English.
  • The role will be based in our Hong Kong Office.
  • Near native fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Ability to speak Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) would be an advantage.
