Responsibilities
- Establishing strong and productive relationships with new clients and maintaining a high level of satisfaction among existing partners;
- Conducting negotiations, identifying client needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements;
- Showcasing the full range of EMCD products and services, including mining tools, analytics platforms, and fintech solutions;
- Acquiring new clients through cold outreach, networking, and participation in industry events and conferences;
- Collecting and analyzing market data, studying the competitive landscape, evaluating customer behavior, and preparing recommendations for process improvement;
- Collaborating with marketing, product, technical support, and other internal teams to enhance the competitiveness of EMCD offerings;
- Developing strategies to increase average revenue per client by introducing additional services and products;
- Delivering regular analytical reports and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and client base development.
- 1+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in B2C or B2B sectors;
- Analytical mindset and ability to work with data;
- High technical literacy (knowledge of blockchain technologies, mining, and related products will be a plus);
- Experience with CRM systems;
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present complex solutions in simple terms;
- Negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term partnership relationships;
- Ability to plan work independently and achieve results in an autonomous work environment;
- Proactivity, flexibility, goal-orientation, and willingness to work in a fast-evolving industry;
- Proficiency in the Russian language.

The Sales Executive is responsible for seeking out and maintaining new and existing business across the digital, print, social and experiential. To prospect for new business and drive the full sales cycle. They will receive a sector and agency patch and will be tasked with sales targets. Bi-lingual preferred (English & Chinese). From time to time you will also need to Project or Campaign manage larger, strategic programs
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect commercial leads by utilizing online and offline sources to cultivate new business, proactively seek new business opportunities
- Continuously develop and maintain a pipeline of business from both agency and direct clients
- Drive the full sales cycle – i.e. attain new business through a variety of means including prospecting; pitching for new work; negotiating to optimize deals for Time Out; executing and closing deals to a high standard; client relationship development; long-term client retention
- Consistently aim to close new deals with the ambition to exceed monthly sales targets
- Work autonomously with sales support including the Campaign, Branded Content and Editorial departments
- Run their own patch like their own business and help train/ develop new team members where needed
- Support the wider sales and campaigns team where needed
- Delegate to campaign managers for commercial production and to compile accurate post-campaign reports
- Consistently remain up to date on our audience stats, point of difference and key products
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate needs 2- 4 years media experience and someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and sector knowledge. This is perfect for someone with hustle, grit and ability to service clients but also develop business in the process. A passion for travel, food, drink and arts/culture is a must! For candidates with more experience we will consider their application and have the potential to extend this role to Manager level.
