We are seeking an experienced digital editor to help shape and showcase the biggest stories of the day for our growing online audience in the APAC region. You will be expected to perform a variety of roles: Curate homepages, write sharp headlines, craft social and SEO language, send mobile push alerts.
We'll trust you to:
- Manage homepages to highlight the biggest news of the day globally
- Curate content to show off our best stories in all formats, including newsletters, podcasts and videos
- Develop coverage plans for breaking news and live events in collaboration with the News Desk
- Work along the News Desk to commission stories or videos geared towards subscribers
- Write and brainstorm web-friendly headlines with the newsroom
- Optimize content for SEO and monitor keyword opportunities
