We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, mind for conceptualisation, and most importantly stellar Art Directions coupled with hands-on design skills e.g. illustration, graphic and photo retouching to name a few. You will work in a fast-paced environment and with a team of multi-disciplined, creative and energetic people on a portfolio of some of the world's largest, most renowned brands across Travel & Hospitality, Financial Services & Banking, Innovative Technologies and Telecommunications, etc.

You’ll collaborate with the team(s) in conceptualisation; lead Art Directions and design executions for integrated initiatives, as well as cross-channel marketing platforms. You will work closely with one of the Creative Directors and have the opportunity to work with the group Chief Creative Officer. There may be traveling involved as well.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with copy-based creatives to develop a range of powerful, compelling art directions & social content for respective projects.
  • Presenting visual designs, concepts, and storyboards to internal teams and clients.
  • Mentoring designers & art directors to produce cross-channel art-based creative output.
  • Working on multiple projects in a small / large group setting.
  • Being persistent in managing deadlines and work quality.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with background in design, graphic, art or multimedia.
  • 1 year of experience in the creative industry.
  • A Portfolio that includes: Conceptual and design skills that show off your talent in advertising and design, showcasing your personal pick, the best, the prettiest, the most visually impactful artwork or design.
  • Skilful in Photoshop, Illustrator; After Effects & video production a plus.
  • A knack for strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution.
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English.

  • Effective interpersonal skills across teams and when liaising with clients
  • Understanding of Advertising business, conceptual creative process, idea explorations
  • Knowledge of digital platforms, including online, mobile, tablets, and other emerging technologies

The Assistant Art Director (AAD) collaborates with the Art team in generating and executing of creative concepts from idea to design through finished product. Art Direction & Creative Execution

Participate in the creation of initial layouts and well-designed materials while maintaining quality control, agency process, and client referencing and legal requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate and communicate with team members in a productive manner to ensure goals are being met and to attain/maintain creative vision outlined for the agency.

Strategic Thinking

Demonstrates knowledge of marketing plans including objectives and strategies and how success will be measured.

Administration

Maintains timely & detail oriented and accurate approach to administrative duties.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the Creative team in the development of creative and effective advertising concepts from ideation through final projects.
  • Creates layouts sketch and/or digital formats for assigned projects that are complementary to tone and style of copy.
  • Partners with copy in analyzing and interpreting data from clinical studies, presentations and published papers, and looks for design opportunities for assigned projects that are on strategy
  • Displays understanding of audience needs and targets designs and creative styles to appropriately meet them.
  • Adheres to legal, medical, and regulatory pharma and brand guidelines, as well as any client-specific rules and brand guidelines.
  • Approve CAD proofs, press proofs and other supplied services; color break dummies for release with disk.
  • Maintains quality control (proper layout and conceptual execution) throughout all phases of campaign execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Demonstrates understanding of, and maintains relationships with different agency departments including Editorial, Account, Strategy, and Project Management.
  • Always communicates with team members regarding deadlines, revisions, quality control and new work.
  • Collaborates with team in a productive manner.
  • Work with Copywriter to support creative approaches to communicate brand personality and messages for both the overall campaign and individual materials.

We are seeking a creative and adaptable Junior Art Director to join our creative team. You will work closely with our Senior Art Director and cross-functional teams to help bring creative concepts to life and maintain brand consistency.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the creation of product pages for new product launches working with other team members

Senior Art Director

As an advertising senior art director, you will be acting as a creative thinker bridging the gap between the agency and its clients with adding significant value through your expertise. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and presenting advertising campaigns, making clear communication with the team essential for achieving successful outcomes.

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Art Director (AAD) collaborates with the Art team in generating and executing of creative concepts from idea to design through finished product. The AAD gains experience& exposure with additional members of creative department and network to ensure projects are completed on time and meet the highest standards of design excellence. They understand IPG Health departmental procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, visually compelling, and displayed correctly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Art Direction & Creative Execution

Participate in the creation of initial layouts and well-designed materials while maintaining quality control, agency process, and client referencing and legal requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate and communicate with team members in a productive manner to ensure goals are being met and to attain/maintain creative vision outlined for the agency.

Strategic Thinking

Demonstrates knowledge of marketing plans including objectives and strategies and how success will be measured.

Administration

Maintains timely & detail oriented and accurate approach to administrative duties.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the Creative team in the development of creative and effective advertising concepts from ideation through final projects.
  • Creates layouts sketch and/or digital formats for assigned projects that are complementary to tone and style of copy.
  • Partners with copy in analyzing and interpreting data from clinical studies, presentations and published papers, and looks for design opportunities for assigned projects that are on strategy
  • Displays understanding of audience needs and targets designs and creative styles to appropriately meet them.
  • Adheres to legal, medical, and regulatory pharma and brand guidelines, as well as any client-specific rules and brand guidelines.
  • Approve CAD proofs, press proofs and other supplied services; color break dummies for release with disk.
  • Maintains quality control (proper layout and conceptual execution) throughout all phases of campaign execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Demonstrates understanding of, and maintains relationships with different agency departments including Editorial, Account, Strategy, and Project Management.
  • Always communicates with team members regarding deadlines, revisions, quality control and new work.
  • Collaborates with team in a productive manner.
  • Work with Copywriter to support creative approaches to communicate brand personality and messages for both the overall campaign and individual materials.
  • Proactively approaches supervisor with new ideas and suggestions for personal career growth and team dynamics.

Administration

  • Demonstrates detail-oriented and organized approach to daily responsibilities.
  • Completes timesheets, expenses, and all other administrative duties accurately and on timely basis.

EDUCATION

DEGREE/DIPLOMA AREA OF STUDY

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art

& Design or related field

EXPERIENCE

  • 1 year Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art & Design or related field
  • Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge may be considered for the role of Assistant Art Director

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Software:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams) or equivalent
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

Founded in 2014, Linjer is a luxury jewelry and accessories company with a goal of making it easier for people to invest in long-lasting, quality products. Over the past few years, we have grown massively from a small Hong Kong based startup to a global team, and are entering the next phase of our explosive growth this year.
("Linjer" means "lines" in Norwegian -- we have Scandinavian roots.) We started Linjer because we were fed up with choosing between unsustainable fast fashion products and overpriced luxury goods. We love quality but don't love overpaying for logos, so we convinced the suppliers of luxury brands to work with us and produce products of our own design. These products are now being sold to all corners of the globe.
We are seeking a creative and adaptable Junior Art Director to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling and design, eager to develop their skills while contributing to exciting projects across digital and print media. You will work closely with our Senior Art Director and cross-functional teams to help bring creative concepts to life and maintain brand consistency.
The position is full-time in our Hong Kong office.
What You'll Do

  • Lead the creation of product pages for new product launches working with other team members
  • Assist Senior Art Director in developing creative concepts and visual strategies for photoshoots, campaigns and projects
  • Collaborate with outside photographers and videographers in the creation of assets for our brand
  • Create compelling visual designs and graphics for print, digital, and social media platforms
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other team members to create compelling campaigns
  • Prepare design materials for presentations and other ad hoc projects
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and style consistency
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team
