The Site Operations Department is responsible for the performance of mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and the support of data modules within our data centers. This team is the face of Vantage to our customers, responsible for business continuity and striving for operational excellence.

About the Opportunity

Critical Facility Operations teams manage our buildings and ensure best-in-class data center services for our customers. These teams comprise of Critical Facility Engineers who are Vantage’s front-line for managing critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure operations. Providing best-in-class services requires in depth plant equipment knowledge, and proficiency in critical facility management processes including change, incident and problem management.

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Critical Facility Operations teams. This role will be crucial for providing site teams insight into their operational performance, providing business leaders data on areas of focus and improving team’s awareness and alignment to defined business processes. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with stakeholders to define and build reporting products that support training, operational KPIs, business SLAs and process compliance. A key reporting focus will be on workflows based upon the Service Now platform, specifically focusing on Work Orders, Change, and Incident module usage. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, experience in data and metrics development, and proficiency in Power BI. Experience with Software as a service type platform data would be beneficial but not mandatory.

About You

Ideally you will have these skills, qualifications, and characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a business intelligence or data analyst with a focus on report and dashboard creation
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI or equivalent platform for data visualization and reporting building.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data center or IT operations environment.
  • Experience with data collection, sanitization, and metric development.
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical skills with the ability to exercise clear and sound judgement, while demonstrating solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail and a High level of accuracy in written materials.
  • Experience with Service Now or a related SaaS platform is a plus but not required.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Key aspects:

  • Develop and maintain business metrics to monitor the usage and efficiency of various workflows. Create reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide insights into performance and track adherence to processes.
  • Manage the collection and sanitization of data related to operational processes and KPIs. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and quality checks.
  • Assist Critical Facility Operations teams in understanding and adhering to business expectations by reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to processes workflows.
  • Supporting the collection of availability and operational data. Ensuring operational compliance of Site Operations, tracking against targets, reviewing and improving team performance
  • Track and analyse performance to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and process adherence.
  • Establish a structured approach to reporting standards and effectiveness to enable better business outcomes and improve regional collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Present findings and insights to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct detailed business analysis to understand the operational needs and challenges of Critical Facility Operations teams. Provide recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data center operations and business analysis. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and tools used by the Critical Facility Operations teams
  • Support our business strategies and standardisation of systems and processes, and process improvements in reporting capabilities
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly documented, understood, communicated, planned and within the design of the system or process solutions and provide updates on milestones.
  • Contribute towards improved business process maturity by identifying and prioritising improvement projects and implement changes to processes and operations to improve data capture
  • Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes.

About The Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and excel in requirement gathering and documentation. Minimum Job Requirements

University degree or above in IT or related disciplines

8 years of professional experience as a business analyst or in a similar role

Strong understanding of insurance related processes and ecosystems

Experience with medium to large-scale delivery of a project in a tight timeframe

Strong Problem-solving Abilities, Attention To Detail, And Analytical Skills

Proven cross-functional collaboration and solution delivery experience

Fluency in English and Cantonese preferred, proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

Excellent communication skills to convey business needs to technology teams

The Job

  • Work with business development team, and/or the client in determining the best fit solution to our client's needs.

Your role
Are you incredibly organized with an eye for detail? Do you enjoy client servicing and delivering best in class experience for them? Are you passionate about driving process simplification & automation? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Support the Process Pods in conducting analysis & workshops to understand the current state challenges and pain points across respective processes, platforms, organizations
  • Capture, prioritize and document detailed user requirements as part of the proposed solutions to be delivered
  • Drive the design and solutioning towards the future target “ATOM Blueprint” and the build out of the roadmap in collaboration with the broader Process Pod and Delivery Pod
  • Support the various user testing and rollout activities as part of each delivery sprints, ensuring solutions meet quality standards and business expectations
  • Maintain and build ongoing understanding of current and new operational procedures to continue iterating and enhancing the “ATOMised” process
  • Coordinate with other Process Pods and ADO Streams to define and ensure alignment to overall strategic direction
  • Monitoring productions on the day to day, before, during and post migration until end of stabilization period
  • Defining and execution of preliminary training modules

Your team
You’ll be working as part of the ATOM initiative, one of the key components of the Digital Transformation portfolio in the F2B Digitalization function. This function sits in the Global Wealth Management COO in Singapore / Hong Kong.

Your expertise

  • Ideally 5 to 7 years of experience in managing changes & projects and leading operational processing, preferably in the financial services industry / wealth management business
  • Strong, working knowledge of financial services operations and related COO functions
  • Strong risk and control mindset, process oriented with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem solving whilst bringing a clear digitalization mentality across all changes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, coupled with ability to build networks and partnerships at all levels
  • Strategic and forward-thinking approach to challenges with strong influencing, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Sound judgement and attention to detail, with ability to troubleshoot independently, drive multiple changes/projects and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Passionate and resilient individual with ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Client service oriented and enjoys working in a team
  • High motivation and positive can-do attitude
  • Effective & clear communication; comfortable in facing different stakeholders at senior levels

Job Requirements

• With Bachelor degree or above

• Experience in project management, securities brokerage, wealth management and/or other digital/FinTech applications is an advantage;

• With relevant business/technical analysis experience and good understanding in large-scale financial technology implementation in wealth management and related experience

• As a pro-active team player, willing to learn and ability to work individually under tight schedule and pressure

• Exhibit a high level of integrity, with strong sense of accountability and effective communication skills

• Excellent command in spoken and written Mandarin, Cantonese and English

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with company secretarial functions
  • Help manage the treasury function (obtaining debt facilities, payment rails and post implementation, repayment and reconciliation specifically in relation to our Philippines business)
  • Help prepare the accounting and financial analysis of our Philippines business
  • Help run the Philippine client debtor collection process
  • Support the ongoing monitoring and mitigate credit risk
  • Conduct business related research as required
  • Support the ad-hoc projects lead by senior management

Who you are:

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting/ Business Administration or related disciplines (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in using PC operation, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiar with accounting software but not necessary
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skill with proactive attitude
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Fluency in SEA languages such as Tagalog, Bahasa, Thai would be an advantage

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business-related disciplines
  • 2 years project delivery experience and hands-on with process automation tools / Power BI / Excel / Power APP
  • Communication with technical teams, suppliers, internal stakeholders and external parties
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills
  • A good team player, responsible, self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Immediate available is preferred
