Purpose of the roleThe Marketing Director, APAC leads on all major marketing activities in the APAC region and provides support to global campaigns. - Work with regional leadership to provide guidance and approval of brand-related assets for use internally or externally e.g. website content, corporate photography, online and social media imagery and content, emailers and direct mailers, brochures and advertising, event assets, office signage/décor, branded merchandise
- Lead the social media marketing strategy for the region ensuring the agency is well-represented and key announcements / cultural moments are shared
- Oversee SEO and SEM for the region, working with technical experts and global teams to improve visibility and searchability
- Maintain ownership of the website for the region
- Develop and implement a regional content strategy, coordinating with global to ensure regular and high-quality content is produced and available to support sales and brand awareness. Manage the creation, design, and distribution of key regional content including: sales materials, thought leadership, and awareness content
- Sales: Brochures, case studies, presentations
- Thought-leadership: White papers, eBooks, infographics, research reports
- Awareness: Videos, animations, newsletters
- Specialty content (e.g., recruitment, tip sheets, market guides, etc.)
- Plan and execute lead nurturing and generation strategies, including nurture campaigns for existing clients, prospects and creating awareness with new contacts. This includes a mix of activities such as website performance, SEO, content marketing, email and direct marketing, event marketing, sponsorships and partnerships
- Lead and manage the APAC marketing team, including coaching, supervision and assessment of team members
- Set team objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Manage and motivate direct reports, supporting career development and addressing performance issues
- Collaborate with HR to reward, retain and develop the team
- Monitor campaign performance data and deliver marketing reports to regional leadership and global marketing
- Analyse results and data to make campaign and investment recommendations
- Produce monthly board reports and maintain an accurate APAC marketing dashboard
- Evaluate, recommend and implement major marketing tools (e.g., stock photography libraries, social media management, content management systems, email marketing)
- Train junior team members on tools and channels
- Update and maintain documents on regional servers and spaces used by the team
- Lead team meetings and drive actions to keep projects on track
- Develop and implement new processes as needed
- Support the regional leadership team on relevant projects and initiatives
- Be a cultural ambassador for the team and agency; promote initiatives internally and externally and showcase activities
- Attend agency and industry events as appropriate to represent the agency
- Seek ways to increase knowledge for self-improvement and to improve team performance
- Propose new processes and tools to improve efficiency and performance
- Regular travel to LEWIS offices across the network
- Background in B2B marketing with strategic, analytical and evaluation skills
- Ability to create plans, manage budgets and report on results
- Team player with strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Results-driven with a can-do attitude
- Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
- Qualified in Marketing and/or Communications (relevant degree or professional membership)
